I've got a topdon battery tester with built in printer. Think I paid about £80 for it and it's a cracking tool. Reads exactly same result as competitors £500 miditronic tester.

Torsion Value (0 to +1) and Fuel Consumption (0.4- 0.6) is what you want to be at for your VW, if it is a twin cam 2.0tdi 16v. But adjustment should only be made when the engine is warm, because if not and it's cold the engine ecu idles slightly higher, also injects more fuel on warm up and not to mention the cams and belt expand slightly when hot, this all affects your reading. Also have auxiliaries off such as lights, AC and anything else that may draw more power.

Have a cheap obd reader and it usally throws random miss fire or something odd. Would this read help to more pin point stuff and is the live data worth it?

Nice little unit .been watching a few reviews on this .does it need to be connected to the internet all time .or can it just be used as a scan tool with out the internet. And still have use of all the features ie hot functions .

Do you have to pay every year in order for this OBD reader to work ? If you dont pay does that still work ? Do you need to have internet to used it ? If you don't updates does that still work without updates ? Out from the box can you used it without wifi or internet ? Can this scan for Fuel Pressure ? And can this scan for compression test ? Is this a Complete diagnostic Scan tools ?does it Scan from 1996 cars going up ? How about Toyota Camry 2001 2.2 Liter 4 Cyl or Buick Park Ave 2003 3.8 Liter does it Scan these cars ? Does this scan for battery ignition parameters ? Does it Scan for a bad head gaskets ? Is this the latest version 2024 ?

Will this scanner pick up parking sensor faults? And determine which sensor is faulty? Cheers
