Love the Ecolawn topdresser. Wish I had one, but don't have a large property so not necessary, but would still be nice. Great work mate!

Love your channel….you mention rain coming quite often and I just wanted to ask, where do you get your rainfall predictions from? Every weather app I have relied on has been horribly inaccurate. Cannot rely on them!

What height of cut do you recommend for QLD Blue Couch? I try to maintain it at 45 mm but it usually results in scalp marks, despite mowing every second day 😐 Keeping it lower is difficult considering the amount of consecutive rainy days we’ve had this year in Brisbane. Dropping the mower 1 step below my regular height for a RESET just scalps the entire lawn which takes 3 weeks to heal. They say the bottom 2/3 of QLD Blue Couch is STALK and the top 1/3 is leaf, so it can scalp quite easily 😐 Grrrr… a very fickle grass to mow.

Thoughts of putting a green side bunker in? that process would be pretty cool to see

Can put a drag mat behind the gator to drag the sand in

You mentioned the depth of dressing for quite a number grass types but, you didn’t mention Zoysia. Did you just not include it or you don’t know. I would really like to know you thoughts, if any, on top dressing Zoysia. 👍

Just forgot to mention it to be honest mate. Don’t cover it too heavy due to it growing slower. 10mm should be good

Hey Ben, nice job. That spreading machine certainly makes life easier. Q. Im a novice. If i rock up to my local supplier, what sand should i ask for. Thanks for sharing the knowledge, man. I really appreciate it. ✌️ Peace.

Love the video and watching how the whole yard hard been progressing since you started working On this property, do you have any ideas what grass your are going to put around the tifftough and towards the green to join the areas together
@greggb5575 ай бұрын
What are you going to do on that area all around the TifTuf? Including area betwen tiftuf and the Rye and around the rye. All those weeds.. that cabbage patch as you call it. Its a mess. Kikuyu would be a good joiner/filler?

Man it's looking so good! Got a question about barricade, I've got common couch that's being nursed back to health and I'm probably 80% there. I've got a few bare spots I'm working on that are slowly filling in, I want to put barricade down but I can't find out if it slows down the growth of the grass and affecting the progress of the bare spots Any ideas?

What about the so called "divot mix"? 80% sand and 20% fine compost?

@@LawnTips Yes mate. That is what I use on my lawn here in the states. Get it directly from the sod farm. 👍🏻💚🦸🏻♂
