Loretta’s is number one hands down. For anyone who comes down to New Orleans you will do yourself a great disservice to not taste them. They are in a league of their own. Best beignet the city has to offer. Get the praline and the crab and split them with a friend.

Loretta’s blows away all other beignets. Don’t waste your time and calories anywhere else. When I ate her praline gooey stuffed beignet I had a “best thing I’ve ever eaten” moment. Went back next day! Please go there!!

New Orleans has a Beignet festival every year and it is worth trying out! I look forward to going every time. This year it is September 24th.

Love this city. We snuck in for a day trip a couple months ago and need another fix already. We aren't big on beignets but when we did our Cafe Beignet vs Cafe Du Monde video, it was pretty delicious. Willie Mae's! They're on Gold Belly now too.

Heyyyy great video as always! I am your fellow New York native here and I did call the candy now-a-later LOL. I am not ashamed. They do not taste the same or maybe my taste buds have changed from eating much healthier now, but now-a-laters were a big part of my childhood when I was allowed to go to the store by myself or with a couple of friends 🙋🏾‍♀Cheers to another delightful video (-Sheila)

What's up Top Flight Fam!!! Thank you much for taking us on a beignet bonanza tour of the Big Easy! This was fabo! I've never had a beignet but now it is a must have in my life! You guys made them look so good!!! It's funny b/c my friend just got back from "Nawlins" the other day and she actually went to the new View Orleans 360 attraction and she had videos of the moving boards like in your video, so it was very cool to see them in your showcase! So from a taste perspective, I don't have a reference, but I would have to say by looks and popular vote with you guys, the best beignets would have to be from Morning Call! Now I'm not a musician, not so I live in New Orleans, but your comment about When the Saints Go Marching In reminded me of the show Treme. There are two main characters who are musicians busking and they charge a group of tourists extra for requesting Saints. I can certainly imagine that being very true to life for NOLA musicians.

Beignets are similar to Swahili mandazis...I am not sure ...please confirm..I mean you must have taken both ...one in Kenya and the other in New Orleans.
