Thank you sooooo much! I tried this with several other tutorials (mainly in German), but yours is wonderful as I could follow every step easily. You're so relaxed and explain everything thorougly. AND fortunately you said/wrote "first boot takes longer". This helped sooo much (as I was nervously pushing all buttons the first time and nothing happened). So I flashed again, booted again AND waited 5 min - and now I have a perfect EU-mobile :)

youre amazing. thank you, i was able to flash it and everything is working. quick note: after you flash and it reboots, you first get a page that says "your device is locked" and it has you enter your wifi and MIUI password to activate it. Thats what it said for me. Just wanted to point it out. After i did this, it started setup.

I just wanted to ask if i flash my poco x3 from global to eu will it affect my carrier and would youtube vance run without disabling miui optimisations. edit: and will ota updates work correctly?

No, it will not affect your carrier, I am not sure regarding youtube vanced, and you will get OTA update but you might need to install TWRP recovery

Great Video. I'm in the process changing from ROM from India to EU. I've downloaded the flashboot file. There are 3 BAT files to choose from flash_all, flash_all except data storage or flash_all lock. If I want to do a complete new installation do I choose flash_all

@TOPFONE4U, I have initially tried .eu flash as shown in the video, I was stuck in Fastboot, To resolve this I got help online and now I am running Global ROM. Everything works fine, however as many said below Google Pay contactless is not working, I have not tried Netflix. Could you please suggest to me how do I get .eu rom on the phone? If I try using the method you suggested on one of the videos, are they any chances of phone being stuck in fastboot again? I need your help installing .eu rom on my CN MI 11 Ultra..

Your network frequency is hardware based therefor will not change no matter what ROM you have installed. Visit xiaomi.eu forum for the Mi 11 Ultra ROM

Great stuff.👍. Couple of questions - do you need to then re lock bootloader to get banking apps , widevibe l3 etc ? Will the global receive OTA ? If not how update ? Does WiFi calling , volte , visual voicemail etc work on global ? Thanks

No, Don't lock the bootloader after you flash the ROM because it will brick your phone. If you have installed the Official global ROM, you will receive OTA update. otherwise you have to download the latest ROM from xiaomi.eu to update

the best video on youtube. I have a doubt. I bought a Chinese version of MI 11 with global rom version (MXIM) with unlocked bootloader. I live in Brazil and payment by approximation (google pay) does not work in this global version. 1 can I lock the bootloader for Google Pay to work? 2 can i install EEE global rom (SKAEUXM) on mobile with another rom model? the EEE global rom works google pay according to a brazilian user.

Glad to hear I could help. 1 No you cannot lock the bootloader 2. ROM from xiaomi.eu comes with safetynet pass which allow some banking apps to work and google pay

There is no Format.bat, you must have a different ROM to the one from Xiaomi.eu forum

Once you put the phone on recovery mode you simple connect it to the pc or need to install some drivers before? Will pc or Bat file automatically recognize it??

Just to clarify if you have the fastboot ROM from xiaomi.eu forum you don't need MiFlash tool. Just run the "windows_fastboot_first_install_with_data_format" and it will do everything for you. However if you have the official global ROM from en.miui.com/ you have to use the MiFlash tool.

I have now downloaded 2 different stable versions for the MI 11 and after unpacking I do not get the files you show. I do not get the .bat file at all, what I do get is a long list of files starts with "firmware-update" "META-INF" "boot.img" and keeps going down to "vendor_boot.img".. how am I supposed to install using your method with the .bat file? or am I just getting the wrong file? I downloaded the 12.5.9 version first and I tried both androidfilehost and sourceforge and both give me the same result

I've seen a lot of comments saying that to fix that I have to install MIUI EU rom. Can I do a downgrade of MIUI? I mean, can I install MIUI 12 Eu if I have MIUI 12.5.3 Global? No, once you flash the device, you will only get update for the ROM you have installed. Don't lock the bootloader after you flash the new ROM because your phone will not boot up

Hi, I have a mi 11 phone with global rom 12.0.11. I am planning to upgrade it after unlocking bootloader to EU 12.5.7 English rom. Will I loose my data and applications and contacts and photos. Please update. Will I be able to update EU Rom on a global rom. Will I loose my banking applications and data ? Will I be able to use my banking apps after the upgrade and will I get OtA updates on my EU ROM. Please help me out. I am confused. Appreciate your help in this regads. Thanks MP

Careful because once the bootloader has been unlocked successfully the phone will be factory reset automatically and everything will be deleted. Back up all your files before doing anything. No you cannot update one version to the other, you have to do a fresh install

Make sure you have the fastboot driver installed. Open command and type this command while your phone is connected and type "Fastboot Devices" if the your device shows then you are good to go.

Hi I have ordered the Chinese version of this phone. Do I just do this process to flash to the global version or do I have to do the other part unlocking bootloader?

You don't have to flash to CN version before you can flash the global ROM, follow this video kzfaq.info/get/bejne/jJ6onLGgvOCRias.html just make sure you download the ROM for your device instead

Check on your computer device manager to make sure all the drivers have been installed.

Do you need to unlock bootloader to install XIAOMI.EU ROM? Or can flash straight from FastBoot? The reason why I ask is, you don't need to unlock to install custom Recovery (TWRP, etc.), and you don't need to unlock bootloader to access FastBoot.

I made my Mi11 to global flash from CN version. However the problem is that, I can no longer download NETFLIX on it and my google play store Play protection certification says (device is not certified). Is there anyway to solve this?

Once you have the bootloader unlocked, you can flash the xiaomi.eu ROM. May I asked why you want to remove the Official Global ROM?

@@TOPFONE4U I have problems on the adaptive refresh rate on the Global ROM on the Mi 11. Sometimes, the phone would completely lock on 60hz, even if I am using apps that has 120hz support. I think EU ROM is more optimized.

Only Fasboot version will install using this method, if you have other ROM version you have to flash from Recovery Mode

@@kelhossiny that's not xiaomi.eu, but the stock rom. The eu zip for mi 11 has 2 different .bat files : for first flash and update The flash_all is only in stock fastboot rom.

Hi Sir. I am going to import chinese variant of mi 11 from china through the help of retailer. The retailer shop says it takes 7 days to flash global rom. Is it true? Cause i fear they might open up my phone and take out the orginal parts of mobile phone and replace it with duplicate ones. If i gave my phone for 7 days. Also they told me they would get me 8gb ram 256 gb rom mi11 on 4,345.32 Chinese Yuan. Is it true we get the mi 11 8gb ram 256 gb rom variant on such price. In order to unlock your bootloader you have to wait depending on your account and region but most of the time is 168 hours (7 days). if you have a computer you can do it your self I have done a few tutorials to help unlock the bootloader and flash global rom. Check my other video for more info

Unfortunatley i have widevine l1 but no safetynet pass (so i cannot install netflix etc on the playstore) I heard that if i flashed to Xiaomi.eu i will have widevine l1 AND safetynet pass (so i can install netflix etc. normally). Is this true? Thanks in advance!
