Three vids a week? Well, ain't that something. Also, seeing the LT connected to the PC Engine CD AND having the LT running and playing a game...it's like NEC was in 1991 and living in 2001. Almost reminds me of the monitors that were being plugged into PS1s, PS2s, Xboxes and GameCubes that were being seen in gaming magazines around that time.

I had noticed too, I wonder how wrestling in europe compares to other places - I'm thinking it's much more functional and realistic in terms of techniques than in america or mexico, which seems boring but as an mma fan I enjoy realistic action and techniques over flash and style.

@@FoxUnitNell It used to be, but sadly globalisation and the internet has slowly homogenized wrestling styles. These days what you see in the UK, US and Japan is all pretty similar. WWE even have a UK brand now with all shows ran from this country.

I wish you would have compared the MSRP of each of the systems you referenced, especially what the cost of the LT was when new. Not just a blurb that it was very expensive. Also, perhaps a complete overview of the actual system and inputs. Maybe an unboxing would have worked. Otherwise, I did enjoy the episode and learning about this console. Thanks!

I remember seeing the GT & LT in magazines. It was never available often in stores. Nor could you find games either back then. It was a weird time. I never had a handheld til the the GBA. But I did check out demo kiosks at stores. The PCEngine was the most elusive of all. Interesting to know it's legacy was ahead of the curve. Although it's competition is another story. The notion that a handheld could be more than that was amazing. Even now it's like a time capsule well worth visiting, if it's price was not too high. But for those that do own one, it definitely was a treasure. Thinking about it, how much space those HUCards could handle / data / audio / and visuals were as crisp as any Nintendo, or Sega based game. Then CD.. that took it to another level and then it failed... Most recently I bought Castlevania Requiem Dracula X & SOTN bundled together digitally. And marvelling over the fact I have never played the PCE version of Dracula X ROB. It is a refreshing, and challenging nostalgic trip worth taking. It doesn't feel real. But to just think what it took back then to release it on the PCE, in limited quantity. But a solid title. I miss that kind of design, you obtain a product that you play, and are rewarded for achieving goals. It may push you to your limits, but it is a worthwhile experience. I wish games now had more polish, day one the entire game is there. Not some gimmicky letdown that you have to patch anywhere from 20 to 50+GB just to play it. And it was tested, and credits were a reward that meant something.

Ideas are great, but they only get you so far... You can't do an episode of "Handhelds Around the World" without... you know... an actual handheld to bring around the world? Do you currently possess a working Atari Touch Me that you can lend him? If so please, by all means, let him know! Otherwise, well, you might be better advised to keep your ideas to yourself...

Wow, you're ripped from that wrestling clip. Pros are bulky but rarely defined in their muscularity like you. Also I think Konami needs to release this as a mini console/handheld like they are the pc engine mini (turbo gfx 16 mini) and add the games, game slot (!!!!), and hdmi port to this handheld to give it the mini convertion (though it's already small just doesn't have controller ports, hdmi, and onboard games).
