Amazing video. Loved it. MvC2 is the best game I’ve played. Hours spent with friends as a kid going crazy with these characters. Cable, Gambit an Iceman were my go to trio. Still are.. 👍🏻👍🏻👊🏻

Played a bit in the past on the Xbox. Just picked mvc2 on PS2 up and having a blast. Rouge, Iron Man and Cyclops seem to be my go to but Storm is INSANE and ironically enough Charlie ain't bad.

@@Thunderbolt210the MCU is the reason X-Men and Fantastic Four were cut from MvCI as Disney didn't have the MOVIE RIGHTS to those characters so they were asked to be cut from the roster. However, they can be added back in since Disney has since then acquired those movie rights.

MVS vs SF was my personal favorite. I only had Playstation. Xmen vs Sf was hard to find so as soon as I saw MSH v SF immediately and I loved every minute of it. I was disappointed the tag system was gone but I still had fun. I especially loved hearing the announcer yell out the finisher name at the end. Which is something they seem to have removed from the rest of the series. Then I got MvC on ps1 when it came out. I didn't get to play using the tag system until the games were reissued for the PS2 in collection bundles.

Well done, man. Very well thought out. You really change moods when you get to Infinite. I'm surprised you didn't mention the horrid collector's set with the "Infinity Eggs" I do want to point out, it was actually Ike Perlmutter from Marvel that imposed what some call "The Fox Ban" that affected games like Infinite at the time. Phew, glad we're out of that era.

I massively regret not buying Marvel Vs Capcom Origins on the PS3 when it was available. I once had MVC on the Dreamcast, but didn't appreciate it because I had MVC2 on the PS2 already, and the Dreamcast controller was awful for fighting games. Years later I realise how much I prefer the purity of it - full 2D graphics, proper Marvel boss character, brilliant music - all of which the sequel in my opinion, fails on.

i have marvel vs capcom Origins and MVC 2 on my Hacked PS3. It very easy to hack and then you can down load the game off nopaystation as a PKG file. Blaine locklair has tons of tutorials on his youtube page

I think it has more to do with politics than money. The Boys is a very progressive "left leaning" tv show. Then I watched a video with people raving about how MK1 will have real Christmas stuff and not Happy Holidays stuff like the Starbucks cups controversy and that was an issue with a very conservative/ right leaning crowd.

im not bothered by the recycled sprites in mvsf. the character designes were consistant across all games. I thought it was cool. and I was so happy to have xmvssf and mvssf on the ps1.

Keep up the excellent work mate. PS - the sizes of the ram expansion carts for the saturn though?? You state One mega BIT and for 4 mega BIT?? surely that can't be right? One mega bit is an EIGTH of a mega byte, and is surely not enough to bother with, let alone make saturn conversions so much superior to PlayStation? Anyone provide any insights?? I'm not trying to be a dick about it, I'm just genuinely interested.

geez, choosing between the unknown xmen, and the world famous and beloved Captain Marvel? thats a tough choice man :( Also, i expected to see some info about how UMvC3 has seen a revival through fan driven mods, like new characters and harder boss fight, it was a missed opportunity :(

Fantastic Documentary. And let’s be real. Disney absolutely destroyed this franchise. Disney has destroyed everything it touches. I’m positive Disney forced Capcom to simply the game in order to get whatever Marvel licenses they would be willing to dish out because FORTNITE! Disney is one of the worst mismanaged companies in the last 30 years. The only reason they got Marvel close to right was because Marvel had it written into the contract that they could control SOME of the franchises movies development to make sure they get them right. At this stage the Marvel oversight clause is over and Disney releases nothing but hot garbage failures.

People really like to jump on Disney but I want to point out it was Ike Perlmutter (the guy in charge at Marvel LONG BEFORE the Disney acquisition) who imposed the "Fox Ban" NOT Disney. It was lifted once he got the boot and then Disney bought Fox anyway. But I do agree with Top Hat that both parties are at fault.
