We still need to attend a church of fellow believers in real life brother; not just "online" or church on "TV"... I hope God works in your heart to direct you to a local church of His Choosing. It's still a COMMANDMENT to attend a church brother. I know how it is with the "church social nuisances" but God's Word still prevails. Brother Jahmn... I truly understand where you're coming from and it is hard to find a "good church" and it was something I struggled with a few years back. Even if a church isn't to our "personal liking" we still are to physically attend a local church. Just one "day" of the week and we can still continue on with congregating online amongst brethren and other means of ministry. Even though the church wasn't "right" in obedience to the Word of God (King James Version Holy Bible [KJV]); I once had a "self-righteous spirit" thinking I was "too good" to fellowship at certain local churches even if I was "right" about the church not doing right by Christ, I was NO BETTER because I geniuenly thought I was being a "better Christian" than others because I read and lived Scripture. Fasted, did soulwinning evangelism, witnessed the Gospel of Jesus Christ (KJV 1 Corinthians 15:1-4) to people on the street in street-preaching and other such ministering. ...Yet the Lord DEALT WITH ME and REVEALED me HIS TRUTH: even though I may be "being faithful" as ONE of His servants; I'm not "better" than any of my church-going brethren who may not be trying to live up to Scripture as best they can by the Spirit. What I have learned is by me being present at my local church I am a WITNESS to my brethren than may encourage them to "do better" in their FAITH towards GOD. Sometimes people need to see a "living, breathing example" of a true follower and disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ to make a PRESENCE so the consciences of those seeing may be inspired to be all that God wants them to be. Angela Hartson ......i do also! But i notice i dont seem to get the same effect from other, more popular preachers. I try to give them a chance but the Lord is really using Pastor Lawson as a mouth piece to His church. All the glory is Gods!! Hes just a man, i get that. But you can really tell the difference when the conviction and heart is all in for the Lord. There are many ,many smart preachers, but not many with the understanding and depth that only comes by actually living a life dedicated to Christ and believing the Bible. Understanding the struggle. of sin we all deal with, and preaching the only answer is Jesus!!!
