When marge got barts report card I expected P.E to be atleast a B. Bart is really great at physical sports, skateboarding, climbing, running etc. Edit: HOW CAN YOU INCOMPLETE LUNCH?!

I think he simply skip class( and lunch) to play pranks to Skinner PD: it's strange but I think there more scenes of Lisa in PE class than of Bart.

Grandpa has so many good episodes where he retells how he screwed up, and tries to be a decent human being with his grandchildren. I love it

I feel like Homer and Marge were a bit too hard on Bart in this episode. Sad that the only person who cares about him so much is Grampa.

Homer is just an alcoholic, bad father and bad son. Marge has a sick love for Homer that allows him to hit her son for anything.

The last line in this episode is something I have thought about a lot. All these magazines and books on how to raise a kid. How did people do it before? Okay I am not for spanking or corporal punishment as that has shown to have oposite effects as kids tend to start lying to get out of trouble. But with common sense you go a long way.

Most people just take what they liked from their own parent's method and combine it with the opposite of what they didn't like from their parent's method. All in the objective of raising a better generation then the one before.

Yeah, I don't even feel bad for Bart anymore. He is a screw up, has been for 30 some years, and will continue to be a screw up, unfortunately. Edit: I know it's not entirely his fault, there are glimpses of high potential, but the story always takes it away.
