During each GUNNAR NOVEX cutting table installation, multiple hundred surface points are scanned by a touchless sensor. This scanning procedure is driven in a fully automatic cycle, meanwhile the special sensor head is installed in the cutting toolhead adapter.
In the end, the scanned topographic table surface map is digitally stored within the machines PLC. Any Z-level unevenness of the table structure is in this way compensated automatically during the cutting process, leading to highest cutting control/precision and less consumable consumption.
