It was one of my dad's favorites as well along with a few others. Every Sunday he would play them. He passed away in 2019 and I listen to them a lot as my way of staying connected to him.

I was a disc jockey down in Arkansas when this song came out. Talk about coming out of nowhere. From nothing to Top Ten for a guy that no one had heard of before. Kudos Frank Mills for a great song and great memories for hundreds of millions of music lovers.

Im 50 now. When this song came out in the 70's, my dad worked at a warehouse in north Jersey. It was a maze of boxes and pallets. This song came on and my kid sister and i would get lost in them and try to find each other. One of the best songs, and memories, of my life.

Same here , my dad recorded this onto a tape for my sisters stereo system for her Christmas present. I loved the tune and I played it more than my sister did, then she recorded over it, been trying to find the tune and the name of it for 40 years, I'm 53 now. this tune was released in 1974, I have the 45 R.P.M.. single. it did not get any real traction in terms of air play, but it did catch my ear. it was not until it was re-released in 1979 that it took off, FRANK MILLS was ahead of his time when it was originally released!!!!.

Almost 45 now, lost my Mom June 27th 2020, can't listen to this song without think of her. When I was 4 years old., heard it in a grocery store in Ottawa, KS when we were checking out. She had me go sit down on a bench and wait while she was checking out. I watched her the whole time, I'll never forget her beautiful face, I miss her so much. Happy Mother's Day Mom!

I could put this on a loop and let it play for hours. It was a favorite to DANCE-skate🛼🛼 to when I was a teen. Truly, it just inspired my feet to move like the music box dancer, but on wheels. I used to hear this on the radio as a kid in the late 70s. For some reason it was always playing when my mom would take me to my rheumatologist appointments, and it has become indelibly linked to those long car rides with my mom. It's like the '50's and '60's were the great period for outstanding instrumentals: "Tequila" "Swinging' Shepherd Blues" "Walk Don't Run" "Alley Cat" "Cast Your Fate to the Wind" "Miserlou" "Time is Tight" the list goes on and on. But this late-comer was one of the best.

One of the last of the great instrumentals. What's fun is matching many of these great songs as ring tones for many in my phone contacts. I try to have some connection between the person and the reason I chose that song. Makes it easy to know who is calling even if I am in a different room.

One of my Daddy's favorite's also . A big tough Marine, and the best Daddy a kid could ask for. My Mama and Daddy were the Best . Was so very blessed list them so very young.

1979 …. My first year in high school…. I absolutely loved this. I would listen to a “cassette “ on my Walkman and dance around like a prima ballerina….. beautiful memories of my adolescence.
