How was your Halloween? Mine was great! I got my new lift working! Lifts are great for saving your bones, but when you're working underhood, they're no good. Here's what I've been using to save my back when doing intake manifold gaskets and GM knock sensors etc.

It has been 30 years since I had a helper in the shop like yours, ( same Celtic Warrior top-knot too) but I am sure she said " I got my end " and " I found some nuts and bolts" I know this is a old video now - however it warmed my heart and you have it to enjoy forever - gosh, the time just slips away.

I've been planning to buy? or build a top-side creeper out of wood, which would have to stay outside--not so slick, but there are a couple online photos/blogs that discuss it and it looks doable and cheap. Your video showed me what a strain to set up and adjust these factory units, thanks very much! ** I got a post-Halloween fright seeing how that one toppled over, after seeing your little one in the shop. My kids at that age would have been climbing them--so not good. I hope you have a good kid-proof securing strap to keep them from toppling. Thanks again for making videos and sharing your knowledge.

figures you would have a tool that i need right now, I'm working on a Ford Ranger XLT 3.0L 4x4 changing the cam synchronizer it chew the gear up on it.

I have the one you just received in the video. I got it a little while before you published your review of the other topside creeper. As I recall the box was pretty beat up similar to yours. Fortunately, I had all my hardware. One or two of the channels were bent but not as bad as yours. It's just too heavy for the flimsy Asian cardboard used to ship it. Asian cardboard is real term I first heard in connection with recycling. It's not worth as much to the recycling world as regular American produced cardboard because it's made from shorter fibers than the American craft paper used in domestic cardboard. Anyway, it was taller than I expected but I took a tip you gave in your previous review video so I could use it on certain vehicles shorter than full sized pickups. That is, raise the vehicle. Thanks for that.

I ordered an AgriFab pull behind aerator from Home Depot. The condition of the box when it arrived was atrocious. Much worse than what you existence. I to had nuts and bolts floating around in the box. Somehow, everything was there. Nothing went missing. I still have no idea how that happened.

Everything is made in China and judging from the current generation of young American laborers I will take something made in China over California or New York any day!

I just lay a padded 2x6 board across the entire engine compartment & blanket on radiator area, when working on my truck.

I bought some equipment from a NAPA flyer, the service cart was missing parts. The engine support said Made-in-CHINE lmao.. I can see how this is a useful tool with all the plastic and other crap on modern vehicles limiting you from reaching in to do service work. HF does have good stuff for the money, but manufacturing does have issues.

+bbyeahwhatever Good question! Yesterday was final cut/edit night for the Sunday video. It was also Halloween. It was also the Saturday I finished the install on my new lift (as seen on Instagram). It was also the night my new lift got stuck in the FULL UP position thus making my garage a ROAD CLOSED headache that would keep me up all night trying to figure out. AND I got pinched on time because I took my girls trick or treating. I had this video that was shot in April and 3/4 through editing- so I put 2+2 together and had a Sunday video instead of not having a Sunday video. Plus now this video project is off my poor little solid state C drive. : D WIN!

+joel mccoin They have a corner on the market for this kind of thing. Like I say at the end, if you could take the pros from each and and make it into one... out of litte giant aluminum.... it would ROCK! And it would be $700. because it's a niche market tool.

+noway180 YES!!! But sadly, it would be really expensive because the market is smaller and they'd have to cover fixed costs for extrusion, tooling, marketing, design, etc.

no pun intended i love your review but it's mainly aimed for pro's or people who lives from repairing vehicles but for regular diyr's srry dont see this at a good use unless if you're working on a lifted truck or something high

+MrZerocool5000 For sure, but compared to a lift or something, it's a pretty cheap pro level tool. I'm working on trucks all the time because I live in the country. There's trucks everywhere. This tool saves my back!

That delivery service is total crap...i mean bent and missing parts....if something happens while you're up there they'll say you didn't use correct security pins.

they are quite handy. the padding on the top is useless. Make your own cushion. You're daughter is making me nervous. Never turn your back on her , never let her play around stuff like that. Thought you were smarter than that.

You can't watch kids all the time. Sometimes minor bonks teach them physics best. It's not the end of the world. She's survived and does great the older she gets.
