Thank for sharing the part about how the hands needing to stay on the plane. For years I've tried to shallow the club but my hands moved out and away from the plane and I could never recover without getting super stuck.

Great video. I’m thinking about asking my wife for a X planar or plane swing for Christmas. Do you feel this is a good training aid? My only concern is you are coming down the same plane as you brought the club up on. Aren’t you supposed to come down a shallower plane than the backswing? Do you have any videos on this training aid? If not can you make one?

clay great site question if your not using one length clubs does the plan change degree wise every time you change club length? the plan for a lob wedge has to be steeper than a 4 iron right. how do you adjust for this? spine tilt?

Ok so let me see if I've got this right. You're saying the right elbow plane is only relevant at address and from hip height on the downswing to hip height after impact. Above hip height on the backswing, you're plane angle shifting to the right shoulder, then dropping the hands down to the elbow plane halfway down? Is that what you're saying? If that's correct, doesn't the shift add a level of complexity to this motion that could actually encourage the shaft to be too steep coming down and make it more difficult to get the club shaft aligned with the right forearm at the release point? Swinging the hands to the elbow plane at the top minimizes the shift, and makes it easier to get the right forearm in the right spot at the release point and thus at impact. That said, it would potentially hinder some distance but that would be made up for in hitting the ball dead straight more often. I'm interested in your thoughts on this. Thanks Clay!

Man can we get an in depth video on the difference between a wedge full swing and an iron? I have enrolled into your online courses and swing everything else great. Then I pick up a wedge and immediately lose all confidence

Ok Clay, your tips are generally very good. But for me, for you to tell me that I can learn to make or do a perfect move is asking me to be perfect and that's not possible. All skills are an asymptote, you can reach for perfection, but you never can reach it. I would say, "to reach your potential or to be your best." That's my opinion.
