I have been waiting for the next TopSpin game since forever! I believe I have mastered topspin 4. No guides, no crosshairs or whatever you call it, just plain tennis gameplay and it was so fun mastering the right timing, the best positioning and shot selection. Only thing was transition fron volley to baseline was wonky, especially when the opponent lobs, running back was inexistent. I hope they added this feature. I love the campagin mode. I actually made Venus Williams, and even tried her playstyle. So satisfying! Sad that I wasn’t able to save a photo of my Venus character cause I had a different phone back then. I’m so excited for this!

For this game to succeed you will HAVE to add more players really excited to play but not even having Andy Murray for the uk player base to be excited for is a shame hope you can license some big names so future updates can be exciting.

The image quality of playing top spin4 is beautiful even though the game is over 10 years old. And the new game is a more FHD game at a special price. The system looks the same, just the image quality has improved....lol

Aces and unforced errors seem non existent in this game. Hopefully they update that. I have yet to see an ace in all of the gameplay videos I have watched. And unforced errors I’m not sure If I’ve seen one either. And they are common in real life tennis.

Tiebreak Tennis could have every player ever, photo realism, and every tournament ever with a version for each single year and it would still be a bad game. The core bit is how it plays, and it plays terribly.

Ok just read that it does not have online double. I will be firm here, no buy until this game have obvious functions people expect in 2024, it's, like a house without water and electricity. So tired of developers always missing the mark on what us gamers want. We want to play with friends and since we live in internet times we have friends all over the world which we now can't play with. I just wanted to say this, can anyone confirm if doubles will come later?

@@sportschool3537 That's great news, what source was that? I just feel it is killing the launch a bit to not have it straight away. Games have the best traction when they are launched not 8 months later when people moved on. So releasing it later can hurt the game in my opinion.

@@messiahshow I think the problem is keeping the exact level of connection quality for all 4 players or something. The source is the head developer who did an interview a few weeks back. They're gonna add doubles online for sure... not sure how long it will take them to have them functional and stable but they did say they plan to add them fairly early in the lifecycle of the game if possible.

How many dlcs are you willing to pay just to get 1 more extra player? This game is a blatent cash grab, and it's not even hiding it. It's literally copied and pasted from Topspin 4 and that's alright with you? A 2 generation difference game and this was the best they could do? Have some form of standards, rather than promote subpar games such as this, AO tennis, Tiebreak etc. Even fanmade games (like Full Ace Tennis Simulator and Tennis Elbow) are better than these AAA tennis games.

@@darianh8966 Nadal for example already signed a deal with AO Tennis. Other players may be asking for royalties or fees to be in the game that are significantly beyond the budget. I am disappointed too but I understand the challenge. I think they could've been creative in including some more well known players that wouldn't charge huge fees from the past or near the end of their career like Berdych, Tipsarevic, Wawrinka, Roddick, David Ferrer, Theim, etc.

They need to update Federer’s face. He is on the cover and looks off in the game. 2K should have whoever made The Rock 01’ for wwe 2k24 make Federer’s face for Topspin 2k25. Federer should be looking way more realistic and spot on. They did a great job with Osaka

7 ATP players is a disgrace. Throw in fan favorites and lower ATP tier players or even challenger players to make this game interesting. Even tiebreak tennis (awful game) has a lot more players, even players like Paire and Kostyuk.

As a tennis practician the quality of balls moovement is very basic like in top spin 4 , maybe a little bit better… the sensation of speed is not enough balanced, maybe 30% faster will be more accurate. And I m sure it will very hard when you have a easy ball close to the net to finish the point easily like in Reality . Im tolérant but i dont want to suicide myself during a game session on this basic tennis game
