"TopSpin 2K25’s chunky career mode may occasionally be marred by periods of grind amidst its Grand Slams, its licensed player roster is a little slight compared to its impressive stable of stadiums, and its implementation of virtual currency attributes bafflingly unrealistic values to goods and services as though they were appraised by a kindergartner with no understanding of money. In spite of these drawbacks, though, TopSpin 2K25 is an absolute blast on court, and one that I’m struggling to put down. Claiming this is the best tennis simulation since Top Spin 4 may be a bit of a backhanded compliment since there haven't exactly been any other genuine serve-and-volley contenders released in recent years, but there’s little doubt that despite its rough edges this is still the most enjoyable way to get a realistic rally going in your own home without building an actual court in your backyard."

There’s 11 male players- Alcaraz, Federer, Medvedev, Agassi, Sampras, Murray, Fritz, Shelton, McEnroe, Tiafoe, Berrettini.

The ball boys/ girls are pointless, they don't collect the ball. The crowd are cardboard cutouts, none of the players look nothing like their real life counterparts.

Games fall in price if the game is of poor Quality, this game will not fall in price until at least last quarter ,if you cannot afford to buy a video game at full price find something else to occupy your time other than gaming.

I've played Tennis professionally and looking at the animations this game is just... grueling. Besides maybe Roger (which is odd considering he's been motion captured), and even his movements are not amazing, most players strokes look like a regular sunday player. No sense of ball weight, power in the strokes, or even the movement inside the court. Even the first TopSpin on the OG Xbox had better feeling animations. What a shame.

Shocking that Djokovic isn’t in the game, if there’s no solid roster of licensed players that people can use, it takes away from it being a great game, despite the gameplay.

Verdict - 7/10 - Solid, smooth gameplay - Fun career mode - Lots of Courts - very few actual players - Weird VC - A little rough around the edges Wait for a sale. You’re welcome.

If you don't want to step onto the Wimbledon pitch in a random selection of clothes from the nearest second-hand store, you need VC. You can buy three pairs of tennis socks for the equivalent of 5 euros. If you want to level up your attributes faster, you need VC. If you want to change your attributes later, you need VC. This costs 2700 VC, i.e. 20 euros. If you want to unlock special abilities with trainers, you need VC. TopSpin 2K25 shows why modern sports games are terrible.

@@hmp01the legends only get $10k per year to be in NBA2k, the modern players likenesses are purchased through the deal with the players association so they get all the likenesses through that and not through individual deals like in Tennis.
