Such a great video!!! I noticed the huge fangs with that corvina. I've caught and handled different types of bass, but after seeing those huge cornina teeth I got to thinking, are there different ways to handle certain fish when taking out the hook?

Do you sell all the old reels or do you keep them all? Same with your rods.

I tend to buy new reels to test them out, if I don't like them or have no use I would sell them. But lately the Daiwa Coastal SV TW 150HSL has been great, I have never owned duplicates until I came across this reel. Definitely earned its keep in my arsenal. As for rods, I do the same. I either upgrade or sell it. But in this case, I'm digging the Major Craft MS-1 rods, they're pretty damn solid.

Bearz G. - Thanks brochacho! Just checked them out on their website. I’m enjoying the content! I grew up in OB in the 80s and my dad was a commercial fisherman with his boat moored right there next to the coast guard station on the embarcadero. I’ve fished many of the spots you hit up and it brings back good memories from my childhood watching you fish them. If you ever want to slay some big stripers on Lake Mohave hit me up. I’ll have room in the boat for you. You can stay in Laughlin and I can pick you up.

I like your videos, but it bums me out that you bust the reagulations. It is ok to fish from boats now. I took out my 10’ rib yesterday. A real bad red tide. I found some clear water over by the ammo pier. I caught one short fin corvina like yours. I didn’t know what it was some kinda croaker or Juvy White Sea with no stripes. My rib is at bay club on shelter island. It can hold two. Let me know if you want to fish legal?

Thanks for the offer but I am good. I am sorry that you feel that way but there are far more worse things people are doing while fishing during this time. I come out, fish for a couple of hours, harvest dinner and go home. Harbor Police/Patrol drove by many times and just waved a good morning to me. So to us, that is an OK until we are told to leave. Breaking the rules? Not really. Maybe the Harbor Police broke the rules by letting me fish. Again, my main goal is to go out, make content for people like you to enjoy and to also update the community and to see how it is out there. I did not wake up one morning and planned to do any 'illegal' fishing. Again, thanks for your offer but once the shoreline opens up. I'll be just fine.

You can fish from shore now. We were out fishing as well as a few other people. Seen a couple harbor patrol units pass and didn’t say a word. Of course, wear a mask and stay 6’ or more apart from strangers.

@@Ghost7_. Incorrect, you can not. We were there yesterday and Harbor Police rode up on boats and told us all to leave. (5/3/2020) They stated that fishing from shore is not allowed 'YET'. Go at your own risk.

I'd truly love see catch cooking larger 🐟 🐠 🎣 🐡 like stilhead salmon halibut some other type larger fish 🐟 😋 catch cook even some lobster and crab 🦀 😋 catch cook would be wonderful beautiful see you an you're friends and or family 👪 fishing 🎣 together, or just you an you're Son also wife with two of you together 🐟 🐠 🎣 fishing for large fish catch cook it you're way outside open eating good meal fresh recipes of your own so could I'd hope see this soon please let me know please. 🙏 thanks again for other awesome grate video

Nope, no party boats are available yet. Best way to find out is to call them. I don't go on charters enough to know that information.
