Alwaya enjoy watching your videos and correct me if im wrong but you dont use a sounder on your kayak either which i think is kool very old skool.

you should keep some assist hooks on you to make a change when that happens could make a big difference

Have you tried going up one size on your belly hook and use two split rings so the hooks hang a bit deeper.? Cheers George the rod builder.🧐

Yep tried several different hook configurations but I think some days they are eating it very well and other days not so much!

Wonderful video Lubin, that river looked pristine, is this a limitation of kayak fishing with the strike compared to a boat where the latter you have a better angle to the fish?

Many thanks mate! Just depends on the day and how they are eating it I’ve found. This day was a particularly low percentage 🤣
