Classic North Eastern lures seem to be missing from the Gulf Coast fishing culture. Lures such as pencil poppers, needle fish and bucktails seem to be ignored by gulf anglers. These lures are tried and true work horses and should be in your arsenal! My fishing bag always has these lures and often produce awesome fish.
