Although this past weekend was supposed to honor the soldiers who gave it all in service to our nation and to secure freedom from tyranny in the world, I know that you recognize veterans who served and did not have to die. I served in the USMC from '76-'78 training for desert warfare in 29 Palms, CA maintaining the radar defense systems. I have no regrets for the service that I gave even though I was never deployed to any battlefield. The experiences and knowledge gained in the Marines are invaluable for our young men and women, and I recommend that it be mandatory for US citizens to serve in the military because the real-world experience and knowledge of the specialty of our MOS can follow us into the civilian sector of our society, and the veteran's benefits are a godsend. Thank you Jesus for securing our eternity with You and the rest of the saints. We are renewed every day by the abundance of mercies.

Born and bred in N. Ireland. We always knew we weren't fully Irish/Scottish...when our dna was tested we realised on both sides there was Hebrew dna..Father's family ancestral lineage was Spanish Portuguese and Mother Sub Saharan region. We started as a unit keeping Shabbat and the appointed times of Yehovah. The results showed that my mother's dna was the strongest. She doesn't look Irish at all. Very dark skin and very dark eyes. We were able to see our markers, where are ancestors travelled from. The only thing is, nobody knew. Our ancestors covered it up, they were hidden in the church. Probably for survival. I don't think we can make Aliyah because we have no alive ancestors who practised their faith, just our dna finding. We follow Yeshua. So I don't think we would be allowed to make Aliyah. It's been an amazing journey.

I am very interested to see how this study is going to go. The Bible states in Genesis 10:3 that Ashkenaz is the son of Gomer. If that is the case and it has been proven that the Bible accurately points out the nations lineage, how can sons of Gomer that descend from Japheth be heirs to the land promised to descendants of Shem? The land was promised to blood descendants of a people. How does converting to a religion make you a descendent of a tribe? What happens if we find out that it isn't 10 tribes that were lost, but all 12 that were lost?

I've just begun watching this series. I don't know if he addresses this later so forgive me if this is premature? He said there would be a lot of scriptures but so far not many. He keeps saying God or the bible declared Abraham a Hebrew and Isaac is declared a Hebrew and Jacob was declared a Hebrew but there are no scriptures to support that. I thought the term Hebrew came from Abram being Noah's descendant Eber? Surely Abram wasn't the only one to "cross over" the river? Comments welcome?

Autosomal DNA is showing people in the Southeast US have Jewish alleles that match DNA collected in Israel.
