Great video thanks. One question: was Torah written with Paleo Ebrew?
@TheMuseumGuyIsrael

@@alessandroberia3417 that's a good question. It's discussed and debated even in the Talmud. It seems more likely, historically, that it was originally in Paleo Hebrew

@@TheMuseumGuyIsrael thank you very much. Other question if i may, when Torah was originally written? Grazie!

@@alessandroberia3417 that's a tricky question. It really depends who you ask. The traditional Jewish view is that the Torah, meaning the Pentateuch, was composed around 1200 BCE. There are some Jewish scholars who could argue about pushing it 200 years forward, at least parts of it. There is no consensus amongst the academic community, but it's generally seen as being much later, some opinions list parts of it as being as late as the hellenistic era. Though there are many problems with each approach. But it's ancient

Seems a bit far-fetched, the connection between the image and the letter is very stretched out

Clear explanation. You didn't enter in semantic value of each letter, not the ridiculous numbering, but pur semantic. Why a Nun in Nefesh or Nehesh ? Why a K in Kul ? Why a Lam in Eloh ? This is etymology, and thank to Torah and believers, and Qur'an and believers, the trace of anciant language of human beeing had been preserved. The PIE has cradle in proto-afro-semitic language.

@@TheMuseumGuyIsrael Proto-Indo-European, a supposed tribe who conquiered india and europa. So afro-semitic is older, and cradle of many languages todays. And arabic and hebrew had kept archaic roots (etyma) and even the meaning of phones, each letter semantical value. KAF, K= similarity, F means a gap, so Palm concept. In french Comme (like, as), here the C been origanlly K, and Like both about similarity, comparison to. Latin is deeply rooted on semitic language. yutub issue : here my answer to christianfischer following : your claim is not an argument, nor your clown laughting. This topic is far from your skills.

What you call "Hebrew" alphabet is actually "Aramaic ".
@TheMuseumGuyIsrael
@TheMuseumGuyIsrael 8 ай бұрын
That really depends. The modern square alphabet is indeed an adaptation of Aramaic. Paleo Hebrew is not Aramaic. It's from the same family
