Yes to all of this. I loved Torchwood, but I am out for S3. I hung in for S3, too, when it originally aired, but it was so horrifying that I'll never watch it again. Even alluding to any reasons why would be spoilery, of course.

@@ZakJordan98 All 5 are absolute shit. Hollyoaks level acting, writing is boring and ? twists/endings. Doctor hasn't had any dark or authoritative moments and all new who doctors have dark moments in their first episodes. New music composer isn't good enough, no memorable music pieces in 5 episodes except doctor's theme. Direction has changed for the worse, the cinematic look doesn't work at all. This doesn't feel like Doctor Who, but Eastenders gone Sci-Fi. How any one can argue these points are deluded as hell.

Eric trying to keep track was bugging me anyway, the flashback was just how many deaths ago to that death we saw, it wasn't stating that was exactly how many deaths he had experienced ever, so it was an innacurate number Eric was working off for what he was claiming it to be ^^

Wish the others would give him more of a chance to speak. He is honestly my fave crew member and always has some interesting points to raise but just constantly gets talked over.

Not necessarily. I saw those episodes 2 or 3 times before I started watching Torchwood. It's wasn't until the end of this episode that I realized how this series lined up with Doctor Who. Before, hearing "like Tosh, like Owen" meant nothing to me because I didn't know who they were. As I watched Torchwood, I knew they were going to die at some point, but I didn't know _when_ and I certainly didn't think it would be at the same time. Also, Aaron says it's been a couple of years since he's seen the earlier seasons of DW. He likely forgot that line...

The Sarah Jane Adventures will replace Torchwood for a few weeks. Then, when the Series 4 finale begins, it will be a double feature, then Torchwood Series 3 will begin while Doctor Who takes a week-long break with the 1996 movie.

I just hope it turns into ongoing reactions to the series (I can see them having a blast with every Trickster episodes, and DW crossovers) I mean there is only five episodes (some might say ONE five part episode) of Torchwood left before Miracle Day throws all Doctor Who conexions out the window, and considering the narrative gaps between the DW Series 4 specials, there's plenty of room to find (I think, but then I don't know what it's like to take care of the schedule). I just feel that Season 3 of SJA, Torchwood : CoE and the DW specials should all be viewed as part of a single storyline building up to the End of the Russel T Davies era in "The End of Time" ("What happens" to Torchwood in CoE, the clues that are dropped throughout the DW specials and even the SJA crossover, THE FINALE OF DW SERIES 4 FOR THAT MATTER which is itself set up by the series 4 up to that point, TW series 2 and SJA series 1) I know you said we won't get to SJA 3x3 before the End of Time... but could we get there SOME DAY?
