And now, we get to the point when Owen becomes a truly likable character. Up until next episode, I never really cared about him or even disliked him in most episodes. But the last few episodes of this season are truly his best...

I voted for it on the big pole. Such a great, but heavily underrated series from British TV. I quite liked the US adaptation too (Whitwer power)

Yes, the US version was good too...the UK version just slightly overtakes it, IMO, but I was glad to watch both.

Uk Being Human went a bit shit later on though. First 3 seasons were great. Same thing happened with Misfits.

I hated the show runners, especially Russell T Davies, by the end of this season. I felt like they were obsessed with watching Torchwoog burn. Torchwood as we know it will be over. :( CoE was so traumatizing for me personally, especially as a young parent, that I have no desire to watch even the reaction to it. It's been great to rewatch S1&2, though. It was a great show.

I shouldn’t have watched this when high because it turned an otherwise simple creepy story, into a physiological horror episode, holy shit. Like especially when Owen first falls into himself, into the abyss and he’s freaking out, the cinematography is phenomenal, when right before it happens, and he’s explaining that something’s moving in the dark, the way the frame is shot, with only half of his face staring into the camera, it’s so good, and so fucking creepy. This is also very similar to the episode “They Keep Killing Susie” in season 1, when during the car ride with Gwen when Susie is explaining the afterlife, There’s a sharp contrast of one half of the car with Gwen and the street lights behind her, vs the other half with Susie where there’s nothing but pitch darkness behind her.

Another great reaction! I’m looking forward to the final part of this three parter. Martha aging rapidly is kinda similar to how The Doctor aged rapidly in Sound Of The Drums and the situation of fighting death itself is quite interesting. Gave them something more to discuss. Ah man, I’m really anticipating future reactions especially the finale episode!

Thomas Kelly I actually meant the Series 2 finale. I’m looking forward to that reaction and also the entirety of Series 3 which I think is the peak of Torchwood. I’m not a fan of Series 4 either though and I think that’s the lowest point of Torchwood mainly because it drags on for too long and becomes very tedious to watch throughout. Torchwood was better off ending after the third series. I personally think that Series 3 was the best season out of all the four.

The conversations that Torchwood inspires with the BW guys after every episode remind me of why I had loved the first two seasons of Torchwood, especially S2.

Jack is self healing and so doesn't sustain injuries. He can do all the normal human things. Owen's injuries could not heal and he couldn't eat, drink, sleep, etc.

It's like an undead vampire versus an undead zombie. Vampires can enjoy all the human things and heal from injuries, while zombies just keep going after getting injured and can't enjoy human things.

Still hate that Torchwood stole the phrase Owen says when he has black eyes from the Chronicles of Thomas Covenant the Unbeliever. Those are words of earthpower. Not evil or death. :(

I have done night diving. when you turn off the torch, you float in nothingness, with no sense of direction. It is such an experience. hard to describe.

I know this is unrelated and I know y'all seem like you guys are basically done with supernatural but if you guys are all caught up episode 16 is about to show so that would be awesome for y'all to react too and it's going to be awesome also season 13 so far is soooooooo much better than 12 also Torchwood is lit as fuck.
