Thanks. I think you hit the nail on the head with the most important thing which is knowing what stats you need as this makes buying gear easier and gives you much more ability to craft your own gear much cheaper than market price. It applies to pretty much any build in the game

Thanks for the extra info. The auto targeting makes sense. I tested the base gem and it would not auto target but that might be because with zero proj speed there was not enough range for them to target. Handy to know about the Sniper's mark thing. Glad I bought the video out now as I learn stuff myself :)

@@Dirk_Mcgurk It should still be ok since the arrow should still pierce the enemy although I have never played TS on console so not too sure. When you get enough invested you do not really need to aim anyway

1.yes 2. Ele is cheaper and tankier as Phys convert you have to run hatred and in most cases purity of elements 3. Yes but it's a luxury item that you would upgrade to when you run out of reasonable gear upgrades. It is not worth it in the ballistas though just main skill

Meaning if I have let´s say 50% on Gloves and then from the Tree 40% phys to cold and then from hatred the rest. Is that enough? Or is it always better to scale phys to cold as much as possible? @@FuzzyDuckzy Why would you need to run PoE for going phys convert? The only thing that changes is your bow going to phys and a glove prefix + implicit; I don't see how your resists should be impacted at all? The massive thread of hope (which is almost as good on ele version) drops you by 10-12 allres but that shouldn't make you need PoE. Ailment immunity is also unaffected between ele and cold convert versions. Phys convert should also be tankier than ele since you have bigger chills and freezes, and you still run determ and grace on the phys version (I run Determ+Grace+Hatred+Anomalous Blood and Sand+Precision)

@@Xsia1 i mention purity as 95% of Phys build I have seen run hyris so you need purity for ailments. I am not saying Phys is bad but nearly every example I have seen looks squishy if you drop the HH or mageblood that most people seem to have and I rarely see a build with over 4k life Phys bows are also much more expensive to craft and without a decent one your damage falls off considerably. It also sounds from your auras that you run an enlightened 4 or lots of reservation gear which all comes at a cost.

Scale the build is simple, extra arrows, stack attributes, at some point around 1800-2000 Omni, you're resists will be capped and you'll be sitting at over -100% enemy Ele resist after the penetration. Just becomes better to use the suffix for something else, like suppression or avoid ailment, or crit or crit or crit! :)

I don't think you would convert you would either go ele trinity or cold conversion from the off as they are both end game builds. I am not a massive fan of the cold version though as it's too squishy for my liking

are you on console or PC as the skill should not name lock you just aim your cursor just behind bosses for maximum single target

@@FuzzyDuckzy PC. It's very noticeable especially on Lycia 2 electric boogaloo, my shots always go directly on top of her if I can see her name and it's real irritating.

They look weak mainly for 2 reasons. 1. They look squishy but when you learn how to play and what map mods to avoid you shouldn't be dying. I levelled my 2 deadeye TS characters to 99 & 100 this league and on paper they look squishy. DPS is also misleading in pob as you can hit the same enemy with multiple arrows

I am not sure that is correct after testing as I have 250% projectile speed and adding more increases still pushes my DPS up. I also remember when this mastery came out and GGG provided an example where having 300% increased proj speed would give you 300% increased damage with bows. I also lose 13.5% DPS if I remove this one mastery which makes me think there is no cap. The only thing that doesn't work with this is anything that says " more projectile speed " as this is not "increased" I also think the 150 cap you are referring to is the max travel distance of an arrow for the purposes of damage with things like far shot which is not really related to projectile speed but more to stop insane damage scaling abuse

I run it now but you have to have a lot of increased ailment effect otherwise your brittle will be too low to make it worth running. You will probably want something like 100% increased effect of non damaging ailments

+ bow levels is pretty pointless as TS gains little from levels. +1 to all gems would be ok but still not better than a damage prefix

I am pretty sure does it is just way worse for clear speed due to the way the arrows fire

I think at 8 arrows it's your choice. I still think awakened GMP giving you 5 more arrows is still better than anything else you could do. However if it's normal GMP I think either works fine. Can I ask how you got 8 arrows do you have a +3 bow and +2 quiver?

@@FuzzyDuckzy First, thanks for your reply and information, yes I got a mirrored bow and quiver. I tried running awakened fork for maps and it doesn't feel bad at all with 8 arrows without GMP, I guess I will keep testing and see what fits my liking more

There are gems called forbidden flame and flesh that drop from eater of worlds and exarch. You need to get the same ascendancy on both jewels and it will then allocate the point when you slot the jewels They are expensive though i think I paid 14 divines for the set

Duration is terrible and kind of useless on any boss fight over 4 seconds since you only get 1 charge. You can run it if you don't have extra arrows anywhere but it also means dropping either a defensive flask or diamond which massively lowers your crit chance.

Herald damage is hard to scale so in tough content you actually do not get many explosions and with so many projectiles you will clear the screen without explosions. If you are heavily scaling cold damage then Herald of Ice makes sense but outside of that I would not adjust the build to fit in a herald

No you do not lose damage as it is not the piercing projectile that does the majority of the damage. However it sounds like Tornado Shot might be a bit awkward on console as you ideally want to aim behind the boss for big single target damage.

You can't really as it's not guaranteed how many hit an event but I think half the number of afford you fire multiplied by your pobs DPS is a rough single target amount

Every good Build should use GMP or awakened GMP

There's not much point since relics are rng you would just add one that adds damage or defences

@@FuzzyDuckzy there are relics that can add impale, maim, adds # dmg per att, crit chance, crit multi, minus ele res on hit, etc etc. Should we just PoB it to see which ones the best? Sure it's rng but you can still have many of them but don't know which one's the best or to prioritize

@@Genemesis it is quicker for each individual player to PoB their own relics than me have to spend hours putting every relic into PoB. What gear and build version you play will also hugely affect which relic is best, ie, if you are pure elemental impale does nothing but on a phys build it might be good

It would probably be good for just single target but for clear the coverage would be worse. I have honestly never tried it as always go for awakened GMP as it is 5 projectiles.

In the campaign for levelling bows I would go rain of arrows or lightning arrow. Tornado shot feels terrible

It depends. Being further away gives you more damage if you have far shot but your projectiles will be spread further. If you are very close you lose damage from far shot but should hit with nearly all your arrows. You want to aim just behind the target for max efficiency
