Remnants of Hurricane Beryl dropped tornadoes in New York as power outages from the storm caused life-threatening conditions in Texas. CBS New York's Jarred Hill reports.

This went from “tornadoes in NY” to talking about the weather all over the country. I genuinely just wanted to know about the tornadoes that hit NY, but you didn’t even cover that.

Centerpoint did not have additional technicians in place, ready to assist in restoration of electricity, BEFORE Houston was inundated. No explanation given, seeing and knowing the impact upon countries devastated by Beryl's destruction.
