For anyone that is planning on surfing Roca Loca here is a tip. I went there and didn't have a great time, when paddling out, I didn't paddle out in the narrow channel, this caused the rip to take me very close to the rocks and nearly get smashed into them by white water. That day it was double overhead with an 18 second period swell. So if you are ever planning on surfing here, MAKE SURE TO PADDLE OUT IN THE CHANNEL AND PADDLE HARD, if you are unsure of where the channel is, ask a local.
