Absolutely Awesome Nice Job

Just rented one of these for the weekend. Did a 12" stump from a dead pine that I cut down last weekend in less than 15 minutes. Have a bunch more to do around the property this weekend. Nice little machine.

I've seen so many videos on KZfaq with people who DON"T know how to run a stump grinder. Finally, your video came up with the right swing speed and right bite which makes it look a lot easier than most make it look

Thanks for the video. I'm renting this Toro model today. This will help get the feel of it. 18 stumps from 4 inches to 40 inches. Hope to get all done in one day.

I rented it many times. I love them. I was amazed on how good they are built. They are built tuff.

I rented one of these. I had two tree's cut down. A 30 yr old pine tree and a 25 yr old maple. I rented this and it dug them out smoothly into fine chips. I took it back. The rental guy asked me what kind of tree's I cut up so I told him. he said "You cut out a pine stump? Everyone complains it won't cut worth sh*t on pine, how did you do?" I said " i watched a few video's on youtube. If the grinding wheel "JUMPS" as you are cutting, you are taking too deep and too fast of a cut. So I cut about an inch from left to right and then lowered it and took another swipe. Back and forth. I had no trouble whatsoever. In fact, a neighbor brought their riding mower and cart over because they wanted the wood chips for their garden so I had zero clean up. Slow and easy and it won't jump.

Once you grind the stump what is done with all the wood chips? Are they kept in place to fill the void left by the stump removal?

Is this a Home Depot rental? How well was it maintained? Looks like fun. Can't wait to grind my stumps.

I'll be using this exact one in the near future but I have to remove landscaping rock around the stump first , have you had any problems hitting any rock ?

Do you know where and how much new tracks are for that machine?

That is a nice machine what do they charge you to rent that? I have to pay $150 to rent the one toro one that I have to push!

20 stumps in 4 hours gives a good estimate of how many stumps a used one has run through when it has 600-1000 hours. Lots of hard work on the machine that people are asking 10k for used.
