Feels like a song describing legacy and the influence and impact the past generations will always bleed into the now. The Buffalo is symbolic of timeless persistence. Love it, alllll.

there's nothing distasteful about this track, it's very listenable and i particularly like the guitar riff here, excellent as usual from Toro. the thing is he's taken a hard right into jangle pop (especially with Empty nesters) and there's more cheerfulness, less psychedelia and less boogie, less danceable rhythms and more like tracks you'd sway to or headbob, it does feel sugary at times. they're still solid tracks, but i don't think they're going to be getting as many repeats as all his other albums which im still listening to today. refreshing though

I heard 3 songs. From this album on KZfaq so far they are not as funky or fast paced or songs that make you want to dance or nod your head to the first few songs are to slow for my taste.
