Spectacular work as always Neil. Love the Jane Street Loop shot from the mid 60s. I would have been 10 years old then. Remember that. TTC institution well riding into there so often.

I found a cool surprise. In the south end of the parking lot at the Stockyards Lowes. There are remnants of the CP roundhouse. The turntable and mechanisms are right there, accessible to anyone. It's real cool.

@@conradmcdougall3629 we used to cross the railways tracks from Maria St to get to Ryding Park (now called Runnymede Park for some weird reason even though it's on Ryding Ave, and don't even get me started on the Dundas Square BS) back in the 70s. Tiny fence separated the railway tracks going over Runnymede. The bridge on Runnymede was decrepit and sometimes when a train went overhead while you were under the bridge, oil would leak out from between the railway tyes and land on your face or head. That's why we'd rather cross the railway tracks than walk under the bridge. Not to mention that it saved time from walking around the corner. Lol, good times. There was also apple trees on the NW side of the Runnymede bridge and I'd sit there and eat apples all day countless times. Lol. Ahhhhh, the good old days eh?

Well done ! Its great you included a photo of the historical plaque for Scarboro ' Beach Amusement Park Wow ! 1/4 Mile long rollercoaster there, airshow, and even a wooden-track Velodrome!!! Toronto hasn't had one since then, and still doesn't have a velodrome. There was also a potentially glorious Hotel White Castle near there, where Kingston Rd meets Danforth Ave.

I have tried finding them, but there are problems with most of the ones I have found, I would I would have to list them as made for kids, KZfaq would switch the comments off, a lot of them show kids in front of the schools for class photos. Still trying to find a way round that.
