The 24th was my hubby's and my 14th anniversary. We turned out the lights and layed on a blanket on the floor and watched the lightening for almost an hour. It was so romantic :D

That night was so AWESOME!!!

One of the scariest and most full-on lightning storms I've ever ecountered. It was non-stop!

We had this all night on the 24th in Peterborough as well. Sky was totally lit up for several hours.

the thunder was epic the way it kept rolling and rolling like that. Better than any fireworks show on earth! It was truly spectacular to see! :)....Go Toronto! :) hehe

i'm 40 minutes east of toronto...this was an awesome night for lightning

This storm stretched right from northern ontario right down to windsor. one of the biggest and violent storms i have been through. the damage may not have been that bad, but the amount of people affected by it was unbelieveable.

that was such a cool event. I cant remember seeing a storm that flashed EVERY SECOND for two hours. It was like having a strobe light right outside the window

For everyone saying there was no Tornado. There was a minor F1 that touched down in Narin just outside and west of Burlington.

That storm was madness. My entire town went ORANGE for about half an hour (im 2 hours north of toronto)

I was eating at CN Tower during this... was actually blinded by the number of lighting strokes the CN Tower was hit by...

I was shitting bricks in my house during this.

I thought that storm was going to be BIG but it wasn't ... no HUGE thunder and no hail.

I was watching the lightening from my window. It was so scary. The entire sky lit up like day, the the huge cracks & booms of the sky made it worse.

it was awsome. the only thing that was bad was that it keept me up all night -_-
