There be crackheads and homeless at the Buffalo bus station sometime. Sometimes I have wait for the Metro bus there.

In the post Covid world, everything has become so expensive. In 2014, I bought Megabus tickets for three people round trip to New York for $210

Greyhound and Flixbus have direct routes to New York

Not sure I'd want to be in a bus where the driver doesn't get a break for 10-12 hrs. Some buses, like Flix do have two drivers to share the driving, but most passengers want to stop for a break and to use the washroom (a lot prefer not to use the bus washroom).

Air tickets were costing around $1500 for 2 adults because of holiday season.. this was half the cost
