Great win w/o Gonzalez and Altidore. Just think about this for a second - the last time TFC have lost a playoff/elimination tie in regulation with a #10 was way back in 2015 to MTL and Drogba. Since then their only losses have been on penalties: Seattle in MLS Cup 2016, Chivas in CCL in 2018, and MTL in the Voyageurs Cup final in 2019. The Independiente CCL loss was when they were playing without Giovinco or Pozuelo. As long as they don't have to take penalties and Pozuelo doesn't get injured, TFC have as good a chance as anyone to lift the 2019 Cup.

I love those playoff/finals games where one team has the lead and they’re getting pushed by the opposition. It really gives it a dramatic game instead of it being a boring average game like the ones I see in Europe. MLS becomes so much fun to watch when it’s the playoffs. The stadiums become full, the celebrations are wonderful and each game becomes fun to watch. mls just gets better year by year.
