Not unless Dad secretly owns Wurth. :D Do you think that is the brand for the one in the video? The affiliate link I provided in the description links to the Yontree brand, at the time it looked pretty close to the one that I was using. This video is pretty old, but is really the main reason why I started doing "New Tool Day Tuesdays". I got a lot of folks messaging me who said they had never seen a tool like it. :D Do you know of any interesting tools that could use a good honest review? I'm always looking for ideas!

For the first time in my life I don't have access to a 1" impact gun. I retired and bought a bus motorhome with 22.5" wheels. Someone did not clock the wheels properly so I could not check the inner rear tire air pressure. When I tried to remove the lug nuts with my 3/4" ratchet and a 5' cheater pipe they would not budge. After watching your video I ordered the same tool you have. Even though I had to use my 3/4" ratchet on the tool because the lugs were so tight. The tool however it held up to the seriously over torqued lug nuts. The little crank handle included was just not enough leverage. I am impressed with the tool if you have a big motorhome like I do you seriously need this tool,,,

Advance Auto Parts popped up an advert today showing their Esco Equipment Ez Buster Torque Multiplier for sal at $209. I had no idea what it was so I searched KZfaq and found your excellent post. I love the tool, but I can't imagine investing $200 when for that I could simply buy a longer stretch of cheater pipe to increase the leverage. In any event, thanks for the video!

Yes! I broke all five free with it. Didn't pay attention to the noise. Talked to a mechanic last night about these and he said they have been around for many years. He use to use them on heavy equipment and also said he was always amazed at how easy they would take off stuck nuts. Absolutely little effort to break them free.
@omsirut
@omsirut 3 жыл бұрын
I think the Crack noise comes from having a breaker bar loaded and bending, once the nut loosens, it "catches up" to the breaker bar. This just turns it slowly with a lot of force. You could probably get this to crack if the nut was super stuck and you used a longer handle then the one provided.

I don't think I'd use it to tighten a nut on. I have always tightened lug nuts in a star pattern with a lug wrench, by hand, and have never had an issue with them working loose (of course always making sure to run the pattern at least 3 times before ringing the nuts one last time to make sure I'm not getting any more movement). However, for breaking them loose? Yeah, this thing looks wonderful. Might bring it out to my job, too. Bolting and unbolting all sorts of things is a major part of what I do, and I think I'd feel more comfortable with something that is hand-powered as opposed to the pneumatic and hydraulic tools I have to use right now.

Thanks! I too thought the air power was a bit low! Probably was a faulty key way in the oil.

Try it on a lug that’s actually stuck!

Its tough to show, as even as stuck as these nuts were, it just looked like they were loose with this tool. The magic of mechanical advantage is pretty impressive. I encourage you to do a video of your own and show one off! Also I'd like to apologize for deleting your other comment, this channel automatically filters out cuss words and we also don't allow substitutions. Just trying to keep it family friendly! Thanks for the comment, take care!

Thanks for the comments! They are very useful! But there was no loosened bolt, just a lug nut.
