I am worried about the motor heat as well. Will saving my current version protect me, should I want to return to before this dump or is there another specific way I need to save and backup where I am at now because of it being in the CLI option on beta flight, (predump, not done yet)? Presently, and I have a infrared thermometer with me, only one set of motors not both directions get hot after flight.

Question: is there supposed to be a Save/Reboot or anything else after the file? It kinda makes sense that there should be something. Oddity re copy/paste technique... At 0:15 I needed to also press ENTER. When I did the copy I had not captured text (visible or invisible) past the word SAVE at the end of the file. When I did the paste it printed up to the word SAVE, and sat there. Scrolling up confirmed that all the text had been pasted. Pressing ENTER executed the SAVE. Excellent description otherwise, worked perfectly on the first try.

Is this updated dump file fixing the bad drift in angle Mode most user experience?

I know this is older but my dad and I NEVER had luck with this and I have a very good knowledge of programming and flight controller setup.. I can't get the motors to spin. At all. I've gone through every setting and have come to the conclusion that the esc/flight control were faulty from the box. A real bummer but 2 years later I've tried everything.
