Floating on a pink salt lake (Las Salinas de Torrevieja). Just about 5 minutes from Torrevieja. You can also cover yourself with mud and get smooth skin. It’s like spending time in free natural health spa. Unusual pink water colour gives spectacular views, don’t forget your camera. Locals call it Spanish Dead Sea.

i was there last september 2017 and enjoyed floating experience on that pink salt lake and experienced salt sand beside the lake thats amazing

I went there a couple of weeks ago I didn't swim in there but I saw the flamingos and they were amazing. I stayed in a villa and we went down to the town and eat in different places we also went to the fair x

Really enjoyed floating in that water. The lake is shallow and has warm water, although when I was there this April (2017) the water was diluted by earlier rains, there was no salt on the edges, and even the salt production had to halt for this year. I did see many brine shrimps there, though.

The lake is not open to public. You can of course try and have a go, but you might be fined.

Ah! We went there recently, but it never occurred to any of us to actually get in it, other than a quick puddle. I can see we have missed out!

Went there 2 months ago and you're not allowed to swim there anymore, plus it's impossible to swim there cuz the water is like ankle deep its super shallow

I was there but i had a wound and it burned as hell. Shit man, and a man got salt in his eyes and then i saw blood. But when it got in the lake. Nothing much happend. Still pink. It was a very chill day
