I bought an apartment in Torrevieja for only 97k euros, 400 meters from the beach, I have lived in the USA for 43 years, when I turn 50 I am going to live there, 7 more years here in the USA saving money, it is a dream. To live in those places a good retirement plan, I recommend it, don't stress, the best wine, very nice people, you don't need a car, or fine clothes, just flip flops and a bicycle and let's live it 💛and the Best part,Spanish is my first language yeyyyyy

Another follow American here and did exactly the same thing i bought duplex in Calas balancs urb in Torrevieja. I'm 39 now and will move there when 50 as well. I can't stand life in the US anymore and can't imagine that i can retire or dream of owning anything within a mile from a beach without spending a million dollars here.

Torrevieja looks absolutely stunning and perfect for when I'm looking to retire. I've been considering where to retire, Spain or Portugal, both have many, many benefits so it is hard to decide BUT I am very drawn to Spain, absolutely love the place and the people, not to mention the weather and food. I'll be sure to check out Torrevieja on my next holiday to Spain (This year we're in Majorca)

Buenos dias. Thank you for an excellent video. We are retired educators planning on visiting southern Spain in the fall to look for our next home. This area, Costa Blanca, has an amazing beach boardwalk. And condos here are more affordable than in our city, Portland, Oregon. We love a walkable and accessible city. Healthcare, transportation, safety, and reliability are our concerns. Gracias! Dean & Cindy

This is a Playa Flamenco park. From here there is a beautiful panoramic view of the city of Torrevieja.

Yes, well unfortunately basketball isn’t much of a thing here, though you can find some basketball courts in a few residential areas in Torrevieja.

There are Albanian gangs that specialise in breaking in to houses. On calle Apolo blacks and arabs sell drugs and the guardia civil seem to do nothing about it.

Im sorry to say it but. In this video you see the tourist area who is under 5% of Torrevieja , go 2 Blocks in from the habor, and everything is forgotten, there are graffiti and trash and dogpoo everywhere, its like they only Take Care of the places where they Think tourist are, it could be a great city, but there is a Long way to goal, and information against tipping in nature is needed, its sad but it is true.

I agree with your comment. I have an apartment in Torrevieja close to beach...yes graffiti is a major problem. Does anyone know what the Townhall are doing to clear it up ?? The place is spotless but if the graffiti was kept under control and removed it would enhance the city 😊

Ayuntamiento de Torrevieja is actually doing clean up of the city in phases. In addition to cleaning up graffiti they are also trying to update infrastructure. They've recently introduced a new app (i forgot the name) but you can report it and they actually take action
