Please do more of these style videos Billy! I know your main mission is to review specific drones and thier features all while educating the audience. However, this FPV kind of care free flying video was really cool and relaxing. Love your edits as always cheers 🍻

I heard a few people speculate that the Avata 2 was not as durable or repairable as the Avata one. And I guess your video shows that to be true. Sorry about your crash, that was an interesting worksite. I’m glad you have a backup now and the crashed Avata 2 is on the way back to DJI for repair. Great video, and thanks for sharing.

Damn, Billy! I remember your initial reviews on the Avata 1 and mentioning it was good because it was forcing you out of your GPS drone comfort zone. And look at you now: Manual mode, power 180 curves and crashing like a FPV veteran! U da man! Refresh it is.

I had to like your video right at the crash out of sympathy. I just bought the Avata 2 last week and it was my first time flying fpv. Very happy with the experience, but I did crash it twice and one of the times was on a parking lot, but it bounced back up to 15ft with only scuffs on the feet. Pretty impressed on the durability of this drone compared to my Mavic 3 Pro. Confidence level has risen just over a few days of flying. Your video's make a lot more sense to me now after watching them over the past couple of years now that I have dipped my feet into fpv. Keep it up!

BTW...Best Buy's total program is the best. $170 a year. I replaced my Mavic 3 pro twice in 10 months after crashes with only a $100 deductible. Best part is you get a brand new one same day from Best Buy.

Enjoyed your video. I used it first time proper as my first drone and I guess because I forgot to switch out of default settings when I reached so far down the beach to Culzean Country Park it lost signal and just landed. Thankfully, I learned about the function to 'find my drone' in the app, I didn't know that at the time. I use the motion controller as that's what I have for the time being, waiting to get that controller. Unsure if the motion controller enables you to spin rotate around subjects like that. It's definitely a lot of fun though.

Fun video man! That odd feeling you were feeling before the final crash was likely due to interference from all of the rebar, if not from damage. That rebar causes a ton of RF interference with the radios.

My first FPV was a Tinyhawk 3 Freestyle. It $350 for Analog ready to fly kit. The remote failed in a few weeks of light use and caused me to crash into wet bushes and fried the board. Replacement boards are completely unavailable, I'm screwed and it was unusable before I even finished paying it off. I'm excited to get one of these. It may not be the most respected piece of hardware by the hardcore community, But I can focus on improving my flying without having to worry about anything else.

there is a battery retainer that stops the battery coming out as that happened to me and no signal! I aslo stick on with velcro an air tag , an additional gps you can search with your phone, lastly protect it with stick on rubber, flies the same much more protection, from your crash its not very strong so it must have protection...saludos from Spain, ps wouldnt youj rather have eg a cinelog 35 with carbon frame and repairable?

FPV drones in acro for sure but not more conventional GPS drones. I've had one serious crash in 8 years flying nearly 3,000km in total distance with 13 different DJI drones. I'm also yet to crash my Avata 2 but I don't push it beyond what I feel comfortable doing. I would definitely crash it doing what Billy did in this vid (you would have to be a highly experienced FPV flyer not to) but that doesn't mean people crash drones a lot.

I hate that you crashed and broke the drone but it does demonstrate the durability and I think people are gonna crash this thing A LOT. So this was a good example of what can happen when you crash while flying in certain terrain. I feel like if the ground had just been dirt it might have survived but the concrete rubble probably caused a tumble effect that magnified the crash. Thanks for showing us and sorry the drone got sacrificed in the process.

Come on KZfaqrs! A million of you does one product review. How about make a video to target. Why do we need so many controllers? DJI IS NOT being environmentally friendly. You KZfaqrs must reach out to DJI to also have the controller 3 compatible with others drones like the Mini 4 and Air 3 Or the RC 2 compatible with the Avata 2. This seems so logical why hasn't DJI done this? It's all O4 so it should just be a software update.
