@Mini van I did not understand what prompted your response so came back into this presentation and read what I wrote. It seems to me that what I wrote was a sincere and articulate appreciation of what true artists can bring to us on all levels, including as a balm in times of suffering. I cannot express to you the pain and horror being experienced by huge numbers of Americans daily. We are a nation afflicted by PTSD at this point. People cannot sleep properly, we must be ready to march or act in the some other manner for the resistance at any moment, families are torn asunder, the guilt of the truly vile nature of what we've bred plagues us moment to moment, we ache for our allies to know 70% or more of us are truly with them while trying to fight the insanity and deliberate cruelty. We pray that the international courts go after this illegitimate interregnum for crimes against humanity. Our fellow citizens are drinking more and eating more out of nervous exhaustion and stress. We literally cry that the Putin puppets in our name insult our neighbors. Many Americans spend lots of time in Canada and Mexico and they in our country and we go back and forth daily. Only madmen or evildoers see them as our enemies, not to be trusted. The grifters and scofflaws have usurped power in our administrative and legislative branches and are now packing the courts with the unqualified or ideologues, so soon we will not have the judicial branch of our government to protect us under the Constitution, which did not anticipate total perversion of two or more government branches. We live at the ready to do what we must daily, yet in fear and loathing and a hideous guilt at how this is de-stabilizing the liberal western democracies and much of the world. We do not want a madman whose feelings get hurt easily and has no judgement to be in control of the nuclear codes. So, allow me to ask that you not respond again to a thoughtful sharing (this time of deep national pain, rather than the joys of watching T'n'D) in a manner so rude and wounding. You may be right, but nothing I had said in what I initially wrote should have given you cause to become a picador.

@Mini van Do you read English? I said nothing political. I was talking about people in pain, including me and most people I know. Develop better reading skills. None of what you've said relates to what I said about T'n'D or your cruel and impertinent reply to it. What set you off? Language skill or someone who was capable of expressing real appreciation for the artists?

@Mini van My original comments were regarding T'n'D's artistry only and you came up with an attack out of nowhere about American greed. Then if you read my response carefully, I said you may well be right. I did not argue with your assessment at all. In fact the original founding documents were to read "life, liberty and the pursuit of property." It was changed by many who found that repulsive, but nonetheless was the rough copy wording. I do not lay blame with the current interregnum alone, not at all. However, if you read carefully I am suggesting that this is what sent many of us over the edge with the extremes they employ that are literally making us ill. There are now medical statistics on the stress responses huge portions of the population are experiencing while trying to dig our way out of the abyss. Most of us who have been active citizens our entire lives have seen something bad coming for perhaps three decades, but had not anticipated this level of horror story. There is something deeply wrong with a culture when the service of the common good has become an employment service for perverts, scofflaws, witches who are not wiccan, grifters, the mentally unstable and sociopaths. We have a lot of work to do. Are you a friend of Julian Assange, who hates us but has not helped us in any way. If he knows better, he should have found a way to teach and not destroy. I will never understand what about my T'n'D comments started you on this.

I agree. In interviews I've seen, Jayne said she called Chris "The Blond Prince" when she first saw him. However, when they started skating together, she was "done"(Piers Morgan interview 2013). During a late 1994 interview, in response to Chris' treatment of her (shown in a BBC documentary), Jayne said Chris could be nasty though he did apologize. Based on this information, I suspect she initially wanted to love him romantically but intellectually knew that doing so would open her to much emotional pain. Therefore, she closed that door permanently. She has allowed displays of affection from Chris but rarely initiates them.

Hurry up, they deserve each other. There's no other. Millions of people will just be thrilled if that comes true.

They're in love with one another. One of Chris's wives said she couldn't compete with Jayne . . . . how Jayne's husband deals with it I don't know. But it's clear as day. He once said "the only things important in his life were his sons, and 'this one'" tapping her on her knee.

@@cagney1st I'm paraphrasing but he also said in a couple different interviews that the emotion they show on the ice is very real and that part of what makes it so special. He said he doesn't fake anything. I thought that was beautiful.
