The shock defection of a Tory MP to Labour in anger over the NHS crisis has heaped pressure on Rishi Sunak ahead of what is already expected to be a tough week for the Prime Minister.
Dr Dan Poulter, a former health minister and working medic, on Saturday quit the Tory Party saying it is “failing” the health service and that he could no longer “look my NHS colleagues in the eye” as a Conservative.
He will take the Labour whip until the general election but will not be running again as the MP for Central Suffolk and North Ipswich, he wrote in the Observer.

An industry appointed political player, it's not who is of one party or the other but who has control of Government money flow on behalf of private industry. Your votes matter ...

Good luck with that, 0:42 British politics is a total mess an unelected prime minister and the worst choice between the parties there has ever been . Also the NHS has become a political hotbed.

How can your fundamental beliefs change at the drop of a hat? This brings into sharp relief the sheer insincerity of modern politicians, most of them single-issue extremists or careerists at best

Don't applaud him. Which career was he neglecting here? His medical or political? Both should consume his full attention, not be fly by night, part time extra employment activities. So, is he a piss poor doctor or a piss poor MP? My money is on him being a piss poor excuse for a human being. 😠
