I think those Lasko fans have the reverse switch on top of the motor.

Just curious is there a reason you have a 42” fan in your room instead of a 52” one?

A 52" fan looks really out of place in that room. Iv tried it before and I just didn't like it.

The Lasko in the kitchen should have reverse, you did check on the top of the motor housing right? Thats where the reverse switch should be
