He should return to the Cheers bar, it's exactly the same (because of course it is), and the season ends on a shot of Frasier's face, a mask of overwhelming despair as he realizes that they've been kept in a nightmarish stasis for 30 years. Also, Norm's dead. Rebecca really is dead because of Alley, but Norm - Norm wouldn't survive to 2022.

Norm's the type of guy that he wouldn't even notice he's in the afterlife and is just thinking of a bar, and as he walks into the afterlife everyone screams, "Norm!" - F

David Hyde Pierce doesn't want to come back. I think they might eventually wear him down for a guest appearance, but he was never going to be a regular. Jane Leeves is more open to it, but so long as it doesn't muck up her schedule on her current show. Peri Gilpin's going to be back as Roz for an episode though!

Not this season, apparently, but probably in a future season, according to the creators.

@@DomoftheDoctor I know Ted Danson has said he never wants to reprise his character because he thinks it would be too depressing to have them all still working and drinking in the same bar 30+ years later

Its watchable, but Grammer's back will give out pretty soon from carrying the show. The rest of the show's ensemble isn't anywhere near what it needs to be. More due to due to the writing, not so much the performers.

It's called "beating a dead horse" and " being a multi-millionaire isn't enough. I MUST be a billionaire." I've hated "Frasier" since about season 3. He's a hack.
