It’s too bad they forgot about that development in All-Stars. A lot of Cody mentions is believable, and I’m fine that she called him “her man” in the first episode, but they threw out any ounce of normalcy to her character.

My thoughts on the cameos: • For me Heather and Lindsay were the best cameos of the season, bar none. Heather made the challenge added a whole ‘nother element to the challenge, and Lindsay actually looked like she was enjoying herself. • I feel like Owen, Gwen, and Duncan were only there by virtue of being popular characters. But I do wonder: if Duncan recognized Mike from juvy, in TDAS, then why didn’t he say anything during his season 4 cameo? •Bridgette’s cameo didn’t sit right with me. I mean she does have every reason in the world to despise Chris, but her character just doesn’t work as someone whose mean and makes snide remarks. • Seeing Ezekiel’s character again just reminded me how much the writers hosed this character over. • And I personally don’t know why they brought in DJ, of all people, for a cameo. I liked DJ very much in season one, but then he turned into a complete and utter crybaby - I was literally rejoicing when he got eliminated.

I honestly really love Revenge of the Island and it's a shame it gets overshadowed by All-Stars. Can you imagine if they did another season with the Revenge Cast. IDK what the gimick would be though.

it wasn't right. the show's writers wanted to develop Gwen + Trent further but Cartoon Network forced them to abandon Duncan + Courtney and Gwen + Trent to appeal to more people with Gwen + Duncan. if the show went the writer's way Gwen + Trent and Duncan + Courtney would have gone on much longer.

I do agree that Revenge of the Island and All Stars should have been one long season, instead of two short ones. I do like Revenge of the Island the way it is now, actually, but the idea of all the new contestants with some of the more memorable old ones would have been better than what they did, especially because All Stars missed some of the best characters like Owen or Leshawna, and even Beth (mostly because of her being in the season 2 finale- her arc is completed, so she could have been the first eliminated instead of having an annoying character like Stacy exclusively to fill that role.)

Nah. Just make Staci and B the 1st boots still. Undo Ezekiel being a monster Also sometimes a character forced to carry someone annoying/bad for an episode or 2 for an alliance strategy is sometimes funny if pulled off well. Someone competent being forced to work with Staci if she was toned down a bit, Sam, and Dakota would have improved their characters and wrap them up better if they aren't just outright deleted. Sam would have been so much worse if Seth Rogan hadn't become the movie voice for D.K. otherwise he kind of sucks This show does better with 18-22 characters and a 26 episode format IMO

Fun fact: In the TDROTI outro, you see the names of Kristin Fairlie, Rechel Wilson, Katie Crown, Drew Nelson, Megan Fallonbock, Cle Bennet (although he voices Chef too), Stephanie Anne Mills, and Scott McCord. These are the characters that show back up with special appearances. Bridgette, Heather, Izzy, Duncan, Gwen, DJ, Lindsay, and Owen.

Although I knew Ezekiel was gonna be in TD:ROTI, I wasn't expecting him to be in the first scene on the cruise ship with the main cast. I just thought Chris found him after the whole "shot out of an active volcano" situation and just put him there on the island.
