♡ OPEN FOR MORE LOVE AND SUPPORT! :)
[Sorry this video ended up being so long, but I hope you enjoy it. Also, I am home from GA. at this time. Surgery was June 9th, 2016.]
First of all, I just want to say a HUGE thank you to my supportive and loving fiancé, Gabe. He truly did a great job taking over filming and documenting what was going on from surgery, as well as giving updates with how I was doing. I teared up watching the footage. I'm so grateful for him for not only being there for me and my family through this, but also keeping you guys in mind as well. :)
We traveled to Atlanta, GA. to see Dr. Sinervo at the Center For Endometriosis Care. Previous surgeons could never figure out what was going on and as I was only getting worse we thought it was time to go to the best of the best to find some answers regarding my GYN pains and issues, as well as find some relief. In this video, my fiancé gets very detailed with explaining how surgery went, what they found and what they needed to remove.
Ended up needing to have my uterus, cervix, left ovary, fallopian tubes and appendix taken out. All they could save was my right ovary (thankfully, so that I will still be able to get hormones I need). Also they found Endometriosis all over and did excision.
[More details are in the video.]
The recovery so far has been a lot like a rollercoaster. Some days feel like 1 step forward and 5 steps back, but I know in time things WILL get better. God is good and He will provide. I'm so thankful that God showed the surgeons what was going on. Don't ever lose hope or faith. Gods got you! ♡HUGS!
Thank you so much for watching and for all the support, love and prayers you always give me. I appreciate each and every one of you so much. I hope that through me sharing my experience you will feel less alone. You are stronger than your struggles and I'm praying better days come to you soon.
