We were stuck home with the flu but enjoyed experiencing this once in a lifetime event from the comfort of our backyard in Niagara Falls, NY, USA. Overcast skies blocked much of our view - but here is what we experienced as we made the most of what mother nature gave us. Seeing the sky go dark and the earth get still in the middle of the afternoon is something we will remember for many years to come.
