OMG 9:50 when your solar deck lights by the white fence turned on!!!!! SO cool. I live in CA and we did not get to see it get dark at all. Thank you so much for filming!!

We were in the path of totality and they canceled all the local schools so my son and I got to watch it together. He said it was the most beautiful thing he’s ever saw. 😂

I got blessed to see 100% back in 2017. The way everything went quiet and the temp. Dropped was amazing. Really does make u see life in a whole new way.

My sister’s two dogs were both pacing and barking about five minutes before the earthquake hit here in NJ. They definitely have heightened senses. Animals are just so smart and aware 💯

Maybe try bottom watering you plants. It won’t damage the plants and it will help train the roots to grow down and create a good root ball when you transplant them

Went to Nashville in 2017 to see totality. I live in southwestern Pa so I drove to Lake Erie to see 100%totality again. An amazing awesome experience. Worth it even with the 6+ hour traffic jam on I 79.

Hi Kylie. I have Kitt who looks exactly like your Boo. He climbed in my lap about 20 minutes before earthquake and held on to me for dear life. Even knew that the four aftershocks were coming. They’re so sensitive. ❤

saw a partial here in Arizona.. definitely not nearly as cool as the total!! also, just a friendly vet tech here - be sure to find any and all tinsel and throw it out before Boo finds more - HUGE risk for ingestion which can be fatal. Thank you for another wonderful vlog! ❤

Saw 71% in NC, it was pretty cool. Sunny yet shadowy out almost cartoon-ish. I don’t know how to describe it right but very cool.

I'm so glad you guys were in the totality and got the full experience. I saw the last one and it was very cool! This time I was in a 93% coverage area and it didn't become very dark, but it was still a good experience.

If you do end up putting in beds outside, just an FYI, buying soil In bulk at a nursery or some cities have those specified services available is much more cost effective than bagged soil. They usually deliver, my location scoops it into the back of your truck bed. Or you can shovel yourself, I use ikea bags.

It doesn’t look like it got completely dark where you are. I’m in Dallas and it was 100% totality. But then it stormed really bad after. Really cool but yet weird experience as to what the weather was like after.

I live in Pittsburgh and we had 95% which was still cool, not as cool as what you guys had. It got dark but not dark like you had. Ours reminded me of the movies when they try to make it dark but it is the middle of the day, it had that kind of look. There were pictures all over our local news about the bumper to bumper traffic trying to get to Erie which is two hours north of where I am. One of the local weather guys who went up to cover it said it took him and the camera guys till almost 10pm to get home last night from leaving Erie because of how many people were there.

Hey im from Pittsburgh too and we drove to Erie to see totality. Left at 6:00 am so no traffic on the way up, but the traffic back was a nightmare. Over 6 hours to travel 120 miles, but so totally worth it!!! One of the best experiences of my life

@@gwen-qy3hn that was a good idea to leave at 6 am, gives you time to enjoy Erie and not feel so rushed prior. Jeff Versela (I know that is spelled wrong) mentioned it on the noon news I believe he is on WTAE now, telling the noon anchors about how long it took them to get back. Having gone back and forth to Erie from my childhood on.....after about hour 2 going back I would have been going stir crazy only because we both know it isn't that far of a car ride.
