grap my hand. That is my idea,too. They usually only learn about 40 years of 184-234 because the novel. Most of them actually don't really care to read about the real Three Kingdoms period ( 220-280) and usually think it is boring. The real Three Kingdoms period ( 220-280) look like the mix of the novel and Game of Thrones. Three Kingdoms at war with each other, while every of them have the huge civil conflict,too. And that period just the opening scene of the long chaotic period ( 184-618). I really hope CA will made DLC until the end of it. ^^

If even western Jin is included in this game(and amazingly as the second content expansion), why not 270 years of chaos after that? why not the empire of Sui and Tang? Who will call this kind of timeline made up of several eras altogether the Three Kingdoms? sorry for my poor english

@@NapoleonAquila I agree that the Sima dynasty got what was coming to them BUT you missed the entire premise. Of course no one is going to care AS much BECAUSE the Three Kingdoms is the most glorified and taught period of Ancient China, people are going to have a vested interest in something if it is hyped up a lot more. Whilst I absolutely adore the Three Kingdoms era I love history as a whole as I'm sure so many others do so this is more history on the country. There weren't only heroes during Three Kingdoms, each period of Chinese history had their heroes and villains this merely laid the groundwork for the most part. One common theme was despite them "worshipping heaven" or following "the will of heaven" most of the people involved at some point tried to fight "the will" and it came back against them because the will of man tried to surpass it, same as Sima Yi, he thought he had it all planned out betraying Cao Wei from the very beginning and this was basically his eventual family Karma.

I guess when you lived in a country where famine was a common occurance due to natural disasters and/or locusts cannibalism wasn't that frowned upon. Hell there's even a story about during Liu Bei's wanderings someone wanted to entertain him, but had no meat...so he killed his wife.

the song is called Quantrain of Seven Steps and is based on a poem written allegedly by Cao Zhi (Cao Cao's son) on siblings harming each other. It fits in perfectly with the context of the 8 princes

In the reality, the 2nd Three Kingdom period ( just the way I call this period): - Southern Liang - > Southern Chen. - Eastern Wei - > Northern Qi. - Western Wei - > Northern Zhou - > Sui ( united) - > Tang ( the real united and peace).

@@TheBlackfall234 I can only assume, I mean there is no HARD End Date to this campaign, Sima Shi (One of Yi's sons) was born 208 so it could highly be possible they may be hard-coded into the game somewhere? But then again we cannot see the Sima family tree in-game unless he becomes the leader, but essentially MOST of these 8 Princes are further on from Sima Yi, Sima Liang was born 233 and Sima Lun 250 (two of the Eight Princes) and they died after 290 sometime, they are both sons of Sima Yi. But the other 6 are related to Liang and Lun either by being distant cousins, OR nephews and some of them aren't born until 270+. SO we could see them in game if they are hard-coded, otherwise I don't see this happening.
