Actually, he lives in Naggarond, while Morathi lives in her stronghold at Ghrond. The two are constantly at each other's throats, always trying to one up the other. Malekith has threatened to kill his mother on numerous occasions when she has attempted to undermine his authority, with the two even having come to blows in the past. The whole "lives with his mom" thing is just a meme. Even the incest angle was retconned out after 6th edition, and even back then it was basically just a joke based on the sheer improbability that a charred corpse sealed inside a suit of magical armour was getting intimate with anyone, mother or not.

CA really did go with fantasy elf Darth Vader here lol. But it is a pretty bad ass version of him.

I mean... Malekith is encased in armor (his body is horribly burned), is one of the most powerful spellcasters in the realms (only outshone by Teclis, who is also the only one he avoids confronting directly after getting whooped by him)... one of the best martial fighters... and totally intimidates pretty much everyone. So I suppose he's kind of like Darth Vader.

Hell, I'd expect to pay for cosmetic options knowing the CA business model. Add a 8,99 price tag to it to pay for that extra workload. Just give us the option. As it stands having an army roster composed of a dozen generic identical clones is really immersion-breaking and the one major complaint I, and most people I know, have about the game.
