Minor Settlement battles are performed against minor settlements with a garrison/fortification building, afaik. Since the AI rarely builds these in minor settlements, you rarely see them when on the offense anymore. Meanwhile any capital battle is walled.

@@MonstersAboundhey Guess what, i Find a mod call "Warriors Of Chaos Settlements Overhaul" that make the little setlemments occupation like a normal faction, it's a great option if you don't want subjucate AND destroy the faction if you want.

The reason Zartan had that minor settlement map was that he must have settled that place as a factory. Chaos dwarfs get minor settlement battles on factories/ field battles on outpost settlements.

35:19 but the downside is that once the artillery set their sight on the first target. It can't change target due to the animation need to be completed. That's why there's complained why the chorfs artillery is really slow to respond when changing target

Ca: we put so much more stuff into the shadows of change dlc. 80% of it is vilitch voice lines. Their va really needed the money.

I suspect the reason why the AI keeps using Spawnify on Cathay etc is because Changing of Ways actions are usually to the target faction's disadvantage (like halting their armies etc) - the AI basically doesn't understand that Spawnify is NOT actually a hostile action, so to speak, so it'll just use it "against" about anybody.

If the target army is full, the last three units in the stack will turn into spawn. Still not super useful, but if they happen to be 3 terracotta sentinels or some such, it can be an advantage. I usually use it to get rid of artillery as they are normally in those last spots. The AI isn't smart enough to do it right of course

@@limper106 Also changing random enemy units into Tzeentch spawn, even if for no reason at all besides banter, is peak Tzeentch gameplay. I hope they never change this behaviour.
