"Bye Andy" being a doomstack of Great Unclean Ones and Bloodthirsters, Thomas The Steam Tank Engine, the tragedy of Archie and Archie Jr., Tactics being a good buddy, some great animations that give that extra "oomph" to those dramatic moments, and an absolutely epic final battle. Everything about this is the epitome of Warhammer. Dark, dramatic, surprisingly poignant, and morbidly comedic in equal parts. Kudos to everyone on the team who made this mini-series possible! It was very entertaining to watch, and I wouldn't be opposed to seeing another one of these later down the line!

For those who might not understand the connection between the two statements. Games that I've played for a loooong time, I don't watch gameplays any more (aside from competitve pvp matches), as it is pretty boring, considering I already know everything there is. Tbh I kinda grew busier than watch someone else play, I just care about the changes, or weather a game is worth the money. Now, I preorder every DLC for this game anyways, there is honestly no marketing value for me either. There is no change, here. Nothing new to show. It's just 20 minutes of epic and cringe. And I love it. Good job CA:

in fairness.... you gotta do something to pass the time during the load screens. Sometimes I find myself auto-resolving a fight I know I could win just because I don't wanna spend 10 minutes of loading.

I just want to say. This series has been beyond amazing. This alone has kept my interest in the game high in a period of time where I'm not playing it. And that will keep me thinking about the game and will have me purchasing the next dlc on the spot. I would love to see one of these for each dlc. I should note that this also seriously excites me to play some multiplayer campaign challenges.

Amazing series! Actual Endgame vibes in the last battle. Poor Andy, I get a feeling that warriors of chaos are so much stronger than empire in H2H. Perhaps if Andy was allowed to fight for every ordertide army, it could have been closer.

Yep, the Empire's mechanics are here to slow down it's unification and prevent an ordertide from game 2... while Belakor's mechanics are there to speed up his conquest

Also the fact, that war was fought on Empires land meant, that while Belakor was not necessarily gaining ground, Karl was losing it. Bringing him to Bankruptcy and loss of recruitment options. Side note: If you are going in game against large Empire (for example: High elves controlling entirety of donut). Sending 1 Army to mess up their backline (not necesarily gain ground) could have huge impact on front line, for same reason as mentioned above and it can lead some of their armies on a wild goose chase.

Warriors of chaos are able to create large forces and manage them so much easier the fact empire only has confederation to gain new armies and allies means that a lot more management and resource issues present themselves

@@tlddruidkilla I didn't see any tank divisions, nor armies of Demigryphons. In essence the empire fought greater demon doomstacks with state troops, no wonder the empire lost. Lets see how long the greater demons and Belle stand against 19 steam tanks. But i agree, the empire and other WH1 factions should get a buff. In case of the empire maybe a mechanic to massively boost their economy to allow them to field and replace armies faster. In lore the empire always managed to sustain heavy losses and yet keep fighting.

It's amazing how I've been so excited throughout this series to the point where I felt really bad when Karl Franz lost in the final battle against Bel'akor because on top of that at the beginning of the series it seemed more hopeful for the empire.

These are so damn good! Huge kudos to the cinematography - the PoV of the soldier getting man-handled by the Beast of Nurgle was crazy.. The transitions into the battles, the music when Gelt comes in as reinforcements.. too good. And the aerial battle at the end, specifically with Karl Franz and Deathwing, straight up made me cry hahaha.

well to be fair chaos factions are mad OP right now and the empire is quite outdated when it comes to being updated like for real the empir needs an update

exactly. also, empire even got weakened further. 2/4 LLs are far away, where as chaos is bulked up directly north of it, with tons of random vassal norsca bois also empire made a huge mistake by having its armies randomly in atlantis for just the useless sword of khaine. big misplay to ever go for it tbh empire would have needed to secure its coastline at any cost rather than doing fancy things in ulthuan

I noticed that Franz has been getting one shotted in a matter of 1 minute or 2 idk with some single target spells from the demons, I've done a few custom battles and not sure who is doing it back they are sniping him from the other side of the map. I could be mistaken and mixed some stuff up, maybe it was another unit and didn't notice it was shooting him(like the hellcannon..na it would have obvious)...but yeah he just cannot put up a fight against any demons which is weird considering him and Valten are basically the best of the best to bring forth Sigmar's blessing and power into a fight.

@@andrewstricher144 yeah, feel like the empire and some other WH 2 factions (like the order dwarves) need some buffs in order to keep up with the daemon factions. Oneshotting a legendary lord that late into the game shouldn’t really happen, least in my experience playing.

Picked up Total War Warhammer 3 a couple weeks ago as my first total war game and already have 150 hours in it. Just 100% the map as Kislev in regular campaign and now doing a lengendary/very hard run as Skarbrand in Immortal Empires. This game is addicting as hell.

I don't know about you guys but no matter what campaign I play, I always come back to Empire ❤️ There is something about tiny humans fighting against the whole world of different horrors. Using their brains, talents and besides all the internal struggles somehow manage to come out on top. Gunpowder, magic, a whole bunch. For Sigmar!

Andy needed far far superior unit composition in his armies to fight Will's doom stacks lol the spearmen/archers/swordsmen did him in. I was still rooting for Karl till the very end though!

The battle of Talabheim. So nostalgic, at least for those who are old enough to remember warhammer: mark of chaos, 2006 rts game, "semi-clone" of historical total war, the sppiritual successor of warhammer: shadow of horned rat, and spiritual ancestor of total war: warhammer series.

I love the cinematics, wish we only had these in the actual campaigns! Not just that, but the 2/3? - Voiceovers from the same guy is insane! Even with Belekor as buffed at the current level, he wouldn't survive against the sword of Khaine Franz. But ignoring all that, this was some top notch cinematics, and campaign audiometry. Amazing all round!

Very well done. Loved this series. BUT I think Gotrek and Felix disbanding at the key moment highlights a very long awaited toggle button for order factions? Let them stay in armies if the player chooses! Let them roam and fight in different armies when the player is not playing as an order faction.

You really see the problem with the empire now: Worse armies then chaos and a weaker (!!!!) economy than chaos. Compare: Belakor: 10k and 7k income. Empire: 3k and 3k income. Consider: Chaos-> main income: Vassals and fortresses. Empire: Trade and settlements. Chaos fielded stacks of greater demons while the empire had almost only tier 1 and 2 + state troops, which are around tier 2. So, yeah. Please stop unnecessarily nerfing the economy of empire and dwarves and bolstering others to ridiculousness ;) Its a bit weird right now. I love this series though ;D Another plea: Increase the frequency of authority events, bolster the empires technologies a bit and reduce the income generated by dark fortresses a bit. Balancing is tricky, but dont overnerf

This was such a great mini series - really loved it! I was rooting for the Empire to defeat the forces of chaos, but sometimes life doesn't work the way we want it to. This series really makes me want to get Warhammer 3 and try out Immortal Empires :D

This was incredible. I've been a Total War fan for nearly 2 decades, starting with Rome in 2004. i own every DLC for TWWH and this is the type of content I'm most excited to see. I've spent well over 3000 hours across the TWWH games but this still makes me giddy. Please consider making a "The One True Wanderer" episodic series of Nakai facing off against Wulfrik for the title, perhaps as a way to highlight the eventual Lizardmen/Norsca updates.

This is the best campaign video of Warhammer Total War since its release. As a player who has actually played more than 3,000 hours, I hope CA can add those amazing footage to the game as tools of replay, that would be epic.

Amazing series and would definitely like to see more of these. Maybe just have 2 factions that have the slightest modicum of balance between them. The actual campaign was a forgone conclusion unless you gave the chaos player a severe head injury first.
