I like the way the lift hill sounds and the fact that it climbs right alongside the path. It's a true treasure I hope they never get rid of it. A ride this unique needs to survive.

If you're wondering what pneumatic tires are, they are most commonly found as CAR tires. Bicycles have those, too. There are two types of pneumatic tires: solid and air. The air pneumatic tires are the ones you need to inflate with a pump. Solid pneumatic tires, as the term implies are made of solid rubber. Pneumatic tires are found wherever vehicle weight and rider comfort are a factor. A ride on a monorail feels VERY smooth because monorail trains use pneumatic tires.

I like the concept of this ride but the lateral g-forces must be painful.

There's a similar coaster to this in Kenobel's in Pennsylvania. Recently restored too, it's more styled like a bobsled.

Reminds me of the cars they used to have in Disneyland. You could steer them any direction, but they were guided by a track down the middle of the road. You sometimes thought you would hit something, but the rail turned you comfortably. This is an interesting coaster. I would like to see one in America that is bigger and much faster, but still maintains the wonderfully smooth ride!! Any coaster builders want to take that on?
