3 жыл бұрынStill stuck with all four kids at home until at least 8 March, and watching to see what impact the rollout of vaccines will have, versus the arrival of new strains of COVID-19. Hopefully we're going to turn a corner soon. In the meantime, we opted to take the mickey out of a classic 80s power ballad. This is our parody version of Jim Steinman's 1983 "Total Eclipse of the Heart" most famously recorded by Bonnie Tyler, which had one of the weirdest music videos ever. It featured lots of disturbing children dancing around a Victorian Gothic hospital in Surrey, so kind of close to home for us...

I am a doctor on the frontline from Sydney Australia and in the hardest lockdown the country has seen since the beginning of the pandemic. This has brought us many laughs and relief at a time of such despair. Hilarious lyrics sung with such harmonious beautiful voices. What an amazing talented family you all are. Thank you!

"Sitting in our dressing gowns and giving off farts" ! It just doesn't get any better than that. Written and produced as well as any studio production I have ever seen, yet all done from home . I'm just in awe !!! My hats off to you Mom and Dad ,for promoting this stellar creativity , and to you awesome siblings for not being " Too Cool" to be a part of this . You may be stuck at home but the education you are all getting here will serve you the rest of your lives. I know it is doing wonderful things for those fans watching . If I could ,I would give you a Million thumbs up and a recording contract! I am back 6 Months later and just have to add this little comment. At the finale , when you all leaned in and sang "Lord of The Flies" the evil little grin on Thomas's face was picture perfect. I swear that kid has theater in his blood. Perfect Mugging.

Responsible, caring, interactive, understanding, thoughtful parenting - doesn't take much but it costs nothing except hard work or effort. ^^yes I know it's bloody obvious^^ but for some (who need help or advice or a nudge) it's there written down for them Big respect and lots of love to the parents of mum & dad Marsh - you did yourselves proud. How on earth you got the whole family to do this is unbelievable to me. This is wonderful!.. and for real, really good voices. Thank you for giving so much of yourselves to entertain us. It is not unusual to have one good singer in the family, but to have 6 great singers is something else. Well done to all of you, especially the ones who wrote the lyrics. I belong to a Men's Shed in Adelaide, South Australia, and we have a music group that plays every Friday afternoon. I can't wait to show them your videos and hopefully, they can also write their own lyrics to some well known songs. Keep up the great work everyone.

I am overjoyed to find there is more than “just” the brilliant Les Mis performance. How you manage to each have such talent in one family I can’t imagine but I’m SOOOOOO glad you do. Your performances, smiles, the vocal timing, the angst dancing, the intelligent observation of our situation coupled with the mundane reality and the joy and humour of it all. Wow. I’m blown away and could gush for hours. When you release you album it must be on DVD as seeing you is so much part of it. And when you tour I’d pay good money to see you. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Together you have increased the sum of human happiness in these grinding times. I’m subscribed.

Been in a bad mood since yesterday when our German government announced lockdown continues still without an exit plan, despite our numbers being so much better. I was so impressed by the disciplined and creative performance of this lovely family. Obviously all are musically talented with a great sense of timing - it was a joy to behold. Do you know what the mark of a really good person is, they make the world a better place to live in. Definition of the Marsh Family, 6 people and a dog making the world a better place to live in!!! I really dont think you all realise what a huge positive difference you are making to people's lives globally!!!Personally, Im in the UK and you lift my spirits night and day, I sing your lyrics to chase my negative demons away, especially in the middle of the night when I cant sleep. I think we have all adopted you as our own family!!! Thank you is too too little for so so so so much!! Youre better than any medical prescription for depression!!! Hope school and freedom for parents is going well, don't stay away too long though, We miss you already!!!

Cannot believe this family is getting nasty comments. Don’t watch if you have nothing nice to say. This family is accomplishing more during lockdown than most. I hated this song in the 80s, but I can watch this several times and still giggle. More please.

Well, if nothing else, lockdown has done wonders for their voices. Compare this to last year's Les Mis, and it's clear how much they've improved (and they were pretty great then). Lord of the Flies, interpretive dance, and the addition of the conch to their repertoire... There seems to be no end to their creativity. Well done!

Absolute favorite thing I've seen in ages. I love how well everyone's voices mixed. The lyrics were great! My favorite parts were the interpretive angst dance and the lord of the flies conch at the end. Solid all around! Kiddos are talented as well as the parents! Thanks for the smile!

Oh, this is BRILLIANT!!! You are a wonderful and talented family, and I'm happy that you are able to take this whole very negative experience and make something funny and enjoyable out of it! It's people like you who really "keep the world going 'round"-- instead of giving in to despair and helplessness and hopelessness, you find a way to "turn lemons into lemonade," as the old saying goes.
