Fun fact, the M42 riser pic is actually from a video of a famous airsofter playing with actual marines or navy seals, and he ran an MG42 with that thing, I was not expecting to see it when I saw that vid. It is a rad vid too, the soldiers kicked everyone's asses. And then there's a part of the vid about halfway in where they straight up get vibe checked by a clutch grenade so hard one of them yelped. All that training can't stop you from randomly getting vibed checked by a grenade, it's so true.

Wish this series was around about 8 years ago when my buddys younger brother (18) decided to custom build a 9mm handgun in his garage with old hand tools. It actually fired a couple shots before exploding and almost killing him.

Brandon there is actually a belt fed conversion device for an rpk that is also cursed. It's called the rpk-74 spu. It was an experimental design so I don't know if you could get your hands on one but it might fit the "belt fed ak" niche better than the pkm?

I just finished my first week working at a gunshop in texas as a "gunsmith" So far im more of a paid intern cause i have no work experience or taking apart working on guns at all, and im 17, and so far, its a lot of fun to learn about the other side of guns

Theres some completely printed .22lr pistol designs out recently, I'd love to see you try and make some of them and test them. They have become genuinely impressive. Better yet there's a 3d printed belt fed roller delayed 9mm rifle out which is really really cool

You're right about KZfaq. I've subscribed to your content for a long time now but I've never had notification of new videos. Maybe it's because I live in England and KZfaq believes that I shouldn't be exposed to anything about guns. But I spent the first 40 years of my life in Kenya. The last gun I owned, or was allowed to own was a Weatherby .378 Magnum. Not as nice as their "460" which was really a .458 but still a truly great rifle.

About 10:36, I saw once while in the German military a mg3 mounted on a back of a quad with EOD and magnifier added to the gun. The mount that was used to get the gun to shoulder hight for the gunner was from a dinghy( the metal plates that get added in the assembly to be exact, there is one of these plates that’s designed to mount the MG3 about 50-100cm high to shoot out of a dinghy). When used the whole quad just began to shake violently and the gunner hit nothing…
